MINUTES OF THE MEETING (12/7/21)

Decisions to be made:-

 Decide the Speakers.

 Decide who will be Speaker 1 and Speaker 2.
 Choose issues to work on.
 Researcher- Archit.

Suggestions:-

 Make as many sub issues as you can.

 Pick a issue you like/are comfortable with.
 Read investment laws (overview)
 Research on the legal questions in the problem
 Read ICSID jurisdiction.
 The major point of research will be –

o Nature of arbitration,
o Commencement of Disputes.

Timeline:-

 13/14th July 2021: Finalize the Speakers and read Investment Laws in brief.
Note: Choose speaker 1 and speaker 2.

 15/16th July 2021: Make Issues and sub-issues.

 28th July 2021: Start drafting.

(A major chunk of time at the end will be spent on formatting and adhering to the word limit
ie 1500 words)
