Café review: Photo Coffee, Bridge Street

by coffeedrinker29
Have you 1 drunk a selfie? Well, if you visit Photo Coffee on Bridge Street, you can!
First, take a photo using the tablet in the café, then order your drink. A special machine will print your
selfie on top of your coffee! You don’t 2 to take a photo, but you’ll need to choose
from a library of pictures 3 you don’t take one.
The café has been open 4 about two months and yesterday, I decided to try it. When
I arrived, the café was very busy 5 there weren’t 6 chairs or tables
for the customers. The café had also run 7 of cakes, so I ordered a coffee and a fruit
salad.
Most of the customers seemed 8 with their drinks, but I was disappointed. There was
too 9 sugar in the coffee, so it was really 10 . The fruit salad was
11 tasty, but it wasn’t very 12 . The photo on my drink also
disappeared really quickly. I suggest buying a cold drink if you want your selfie to last longer.
Photo Coffee is a fun place to visit – my friends and I had a good 13 there.
Score
14 , I think it’s too expensive and the coffee isn’t great. I’d go somewhere else if I
15 you!

Discover Canada’s Bay of Fundy

If you’re looking for somewhere exciting to visit, why not try the Bay of Fundy?
Fundy is on the Atlantic coast of North America, between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in Canada. The Fundy National
Park opened in 1948 and it protects about 130 kilometres of coastline.
The scenery in this area is extremely beautiful, with incredible cliffs, caves and beaches. The Bay of Fundy is famous for its
tides – the way the seawater in the bay rises and falls each day. The waves here can make the seawater rise up to sixteen
metres in six hours. The tides here are much higher than those along the rest of the Atlantic coast.
The Fundy National Park offers lots of activities to keep visitors busy. The bay has a large population of whales and
dolphins, so it’s a great place to watch these beautiful animals. Visitors can also play golf or tennis, try water sports like
kayaking, or go hiking in beautiful hills, forests and valleys. You could also explore the national park by car. There are
some great towns and attractions along the Fundy Coastal Drive and you definitely won’t have to worry about traffic jams!
One place everyone should visit is Hopewell Rocks. These huge rocks have been here for millions of years and, over time,
the wind and the ocean have changed their shape. In fact, this effect is still happening today: in 2016, one of the biggest
rocks broke in half, damaging a walking path and changing the landscape. You can learn more about the rocks and the
natural history of the area at the visitors’ centre, or go on a tour with one of our expert guides. According to local stories,
the rocks were once men, and angry whales turned them into stone!
If you are interested in birds, August is the best time to visit Fundy. During this month, thousands of birds stop here on
their journey south for the winter. In early August, visitors can also enjoy the St Stephen’s Chocolate Festival – if you love
chocolate, this is the festival for you!

8 Read the text. Are the sentences true (T), false (F), or is there not enough information to decide (N)?
Write T, F or N in the box.

1 The Bay of Fundy is right next to the Atlantic Ocean.

2 The tides on other parts of the Atlantic coast are lower than in Fundy.

3 You can see a lot of ocean wildlife if you visit Fundy.

4 Visitors can go sailing in the Bay of Fundy.

5 The roads in the Fundy National Park are very busy.

6 The writer really recommends visiting Hopewell Rocks.

7 Only the sea can change the shape of the rocks at Hopewell.

8 The scenery in Hopewell Rocks changes every year.

9 Guided tours are available at Hopewell Rocks. Score
