ONE example of EACH.
# 1. What is meant by “Negative Space” in Drawing?
Ans: Negative Space:
Negative space, in art, is the space around and between the subject of an image.
Negative space may be most evident when the space around a subject, not the
subject itself, forms an interesting or artistically relevant shape, and such space
occasionally is used to artistic effect as the "real" subject of an image.

# 2. What are Pastels and how do we use it?


Ans: Pastels:
dry drawing medium executed with fragile, finger-size sticks. These drawing

Ans: Watercolors:

#4. What is meant by Still Life drawings?


Ans: Still Life drawings:
A still life is a drawing or painting that focuses on still objects. The subject matter
is inanimate and never moves, typically with a focus on household objects,
flowers, or fruits. Still life work contrasts figure drawing which focuses on a live
human model.
Q. No2. What are “Figure drawings” and how they are made? Explain and give
example by two images.
Ans: Figure drawing:
Figure drawings are projective diagnostic techniques in which an individual is
instructed to draw a person, an object, or a situation so that cognitive,
interpersonal, or psychological functioning can be assessed. A figure drawing is a
drawing of the human form in any of its various shapes and postures using any of
the drawing media. ... A figure drawing may be a composed work of art or a figure
study done in preparation for a more finished work such as a painting.
