WHAT IS THE PRESENT PERFECT?
It indicates a link between the present and the past by
expressing an action that is still occurring or that
recently stopped, influencing on the present. It is
composed by de auxiliary to have and the verb in past
participle.

It Describes:
• An action or situation in the past and continues in the present
• An action done during a period that hasn’t finished
• A repeated action in an unspecified period between past &
now
• An action that was completed in the very recent past
• An action where time is not important.

Affirmative

EVER/NEVER

Ever and never que can have similar meanings, but are used differently. Never is a negative term
used in an affirmative sentences (in order to avoid double negatives) and indicates ‘at no time’
while ever is used in interrogatives and means 'at any time‘.
