Description MO Old Value
Threshold for the times of coding scheme adaptation
(measurement period in which the stability of a code scheme
can be determined). That is, the coding scheme stability can GCELLPSPWPARA /
be determined only when the times of coding scheme
adaptation is equal to this parameter.

Threshold for the times of using current coding scheme in a

measurement period. This parameter is used to determine
whether the coding scheme is stable. When the number of GCELLPSPWPARA /
using the current coding scheme in a measurement period is
equal to this parameter, the coding scheme is stable.

Lowest coding scheme (with 8PSK used) to start downlink

power control. When the coding scheme is equal to or higher
than this parameter, downlink power control can be started. GCELLPSPWPARA /
Downlink power control is not required when EGPRS
GMSK is applied.
Initial attenuation value of the transmit power for other
channel relative to the maximum BCCH transmit power for GCELLPSPWPARA /
PS downlink power control
Position corresponding to the target CIR in the value range
for the specified coding scheme, that is, the delta between the GCELLPSPWPARA /
target CIR and the minimum value in the value range.
Maximum offset of the target CIR. This parameter, together
with target CIR, is used to determine the value range of the GCELLPSPWPARA /
target CIR.

Maximum step size of power control GCELLPSPWPARA /

This parameter indicates the minimum granularity of BTS

output power during PS downlink power control.
GCELLPSPWPARA /

Set the power reduce granularity for the Dummy control

blocks with valid USF. When the parameter is set to 0,
power control is not performed on the Dummy control
GCELLPSPWPARA /
blocks with valid USF.

Whether to enable the EICC algorithm. Enhanced

Interference Rejection Combining combines the signals
received by multiple antennas to obtain better signals. EICC GCELLSOFT
is mainly used in heavy-traffic network where tight
frequency reuse is in place.
Whether to adaptively select the interference cancellation
mode. If this parameter is set to ON, the BSC adaptively
selects the interference cancellation mode. If this parameter GCELLSOFT
is set to OFF, the BSC always selects the fixed interference
cancellation mode.

Whether to enable the adaptive interference cancellation

enhancement function. If this parameter is set to ON, the
adaptive interference cancellation enhancement function is
enabled. If this parameter is set to OFF, the adaptive GCELLSOFT
interference cancellation enhancement function is not
enabled. It is recommended that this parameter be set to ON
when adaptive interference cancellation is used.
