III. Objectives:
A. Given the pre-assessment, the pupils can show their prior knowledge about
the lesson.
LGP# 4- Ensure that the learners translate knowledge into something useful in
actual practice for the betterment of the society and church.

B. With the use of Discovery Method the pupils can:


1. describe the colors, size, brightness and temperature of each stars;
2.differentiate the sizes of stars;
3. show willingness in doing the given activities.

IV. Activities:
A. Classroom Routine
1. Opening Prayer
-the demonstrator will call a pupil to solemnly lead the prayer

classmates! It’s nice to see you today.

2. Checking of cleanliness and orderliness

Before you take your seats, please arrange
your chairs properly and be sure to align
according to your columns and rows. After
that, free your areas from pieces of litters.

3. Grooming (inspection)
-the demonstrator will check the grooming of the pupils.

Great! Now, I have here sample pictures of


stars. I will then divide you into two groups,
Team A and Team B. Each member of the
group will be assign a number. I will call 4
numbers at random from your team and you
will simply come here in front to arrange the
color of the stars from coolest to hottest.

Red, white, blue, yellow, orange

Is that clear? Yes, Miss!

Now, I will call number 7,3,5 and 1. (the student move fast to the board)

them!

D. Lesson Proper
1. Administering the Pre-Assessment
-the demonstrator will let the pupils answer the pre-assessment with the use of ARG to
check their prior knowledge about the lesson.

catch it will be the one to read the objectives
of what number he/she’s being catch.
