sleep pattern of the elderly adults in old age home.

It contains 9 questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 questions base on general information

sleep quality assessment questions 5,(a-j) 6,7,8 are rated each scored 0 (no difficulty) to

3 (severe difficulty). The component scores are summed to produce a total score (range

0 to 39). Higher scores indicate worse sleep quality.

Interpretation of score:

1. Very good 0-10

2. Fairly good 11-20
3. Fairly bad 21-30
4. Very bad 31-39

DATA COLLECTION PROCEDURE:

ETHICAL CONSIDERATION:

Ethical consideration will be obtained from the institutional ethical committee.

Informed consent will be obtained. Then the researcher will assess the

demographic variables and find out the sleep problems by using the Pittsburgh sleep

quality index scale. The sample will be collected and then divide in to 3groups.

(20/group).The researcher will provide (the multifactorial intervention to 3 groups)

aromatherapy, diet, leisure activity to the sample for 7 days. The researcher will assess

the post test results after 7 days of the intervention.
