Dear Mr. Morton,

Thank you for your complaint against Cara Levington’s faults about her irresponsible ability
(Noun of irresponsible) at your teamwork, and I also read your file which is attached. I am
writing this email to ensure you that we will come up with a way to solve this problem in the
most reasonable way (why not”come up with the most reasonable way to solve this
problem”?).

Firstly, about Cara’s delay in the team meeting, she should be criticized in front of the group
and fined about 1% of her salary per time for being late, seriously. Secondly, for her careless
style of work, we should find out the reason why she is not focused on work and put forward
solutions to deal with her. If she does not improve herself, we will warn and demote her
position. (do you think we need a team meeting to clear this problem?)

Please contact me immediately via my phone number at 07746-3877 or this email if she
continues this bad behavior. We will come up with a worthy (inappropriate word) punishment
to see her rectification.

Yours sincerely,

Johnson

Dear Mr. Morton,

I am writing this email to respond to your complaint against Cara Levington in your team
(ok).

Thank you for your email alerting me to the problem you have been having with your co-
worker (ok). After reading your email and the file you attached I know more about your
team’s circumstances. Firstly, I would like to thank you for your team effort despite such
trouble. Secondly, Cara Levington will be criticized and fined for a percentage of salary
based on the date she was late and its severity. Thirdly, her carelessness in her job makes
(past tense) your team slowed down in project Runaway and LG. I need to have deep insight
into this situation,. I am making an investigation at the moment and I need more information
to confirm it is because she is irresponsible or she did it on purpose. Until I finish
investigating everything I will have another person join your team to temporarily replace
Cara Levington. (I don’t think her mistake is so serious that we have to suspend her from
work, but a formal team meeting about her case is necessary after the investigation)

If you have any further information about your Co-worker or concerns about my action,
please do not hesitate to contact me via this email or call me directly at 88885555. Thank you
for your patience in this matter (ok).

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr. Morton,

Thank you for complaining about Cara Levington about her lack of responsibility at work.
(ok)

First of all, I’m sorry this went badly for your team. After reading your file is attached., I'm
aware that Cara has taken and continues to take actions that have an impact on your team.
Secondly, her sloppy work slows (past tense) down your team's progress on Project Runway
and LG. I will be conducting an investigation of the employee and need more accurate
information to determine if it was her carelessness or willful intent. Finally, based on the
truth, I will take appropriate action for her lack of accountability. I hope she will have an
explanation of her deeds. (How can team members know about your final decision?)

During the investigation If you need any support, please feel free to ask me. Contact me via

Dear Miss. (Ms.) Morton,

This email is to inform you that your formal complaint has already been forwarded to me.
Thank you for notifying me about Cara Levington's irresponsibility at work. It is needed to
give some solutions to solve this problem in an effective way. (ok)

Firstly, about her lateness in team meeting, each time will be recorded and 5% of her salary
will be deducted. Secondly, not being careful in her work shows that she has an
unprofessional attitude, which must be punished severely. She has to go to the office to
receive criticism and be suspended from work for 1 week starting July 19, 2021. If she
repeats this mistake, I will be forced to demote her and transfer her to another department,
maybe another branch. To be fair, those punishments will be applied to all employees who
have the same mistake as Cara Levington. (1st, do you think you need to investigate why she
was late & irresponsible at work? 2nd, do you think that a team meeting about her case is
necessary?)
Please contact me if you have any reaction about my solutions via this email or phone
number 1236-5498.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr. Morton,

I am writing this email to thank you for informing about Cara's irresponsibility and to
give some solutions for it. (ok)

For The problems that you complained about Cara Levington, I will verify that by asking
other members on (in) your team and asking Cara directly. If everyone agrees that Cara
is irresponsible at work, I will take it seriously. Firstly, about her being late to meetings, I
will criticize her in front of the whole team and warn her that I will notify the HR
department to deduct 10% of her salary for the next time. Secondly, about her
irresponsibility at work leading to others doing instead of her (her job), her work in the
next project will be heavier than the rest to make up for the previous times, but she has
to do it on time and under my supervision. Thirdly, if her lack of professionalism leads
to the slowdown of the whole team on the Runway and LG project, she will not be
rewarded in your team's next successful project. If she doesn't accept those solutions, I
will find someone to replace her.

I can't solve it immediately, I need 2 days to learn about this problem better. If your
complaints are correct, I will apply the above solutions. After applying the above
solutions, she still maintains an irresponsible attitude, please contact me via phone
number 411022313 or this email.
do you think that a team meeting about her case is necessary?

Dear Ms. Morton,

I appreciate an email like yours about the problem or the situation of the team because it
contributes to our core values and the prosperity development of the company. (ok)

We need to have a meeting to precisely interpret the obstacle deeply, so let book a reservation
at room M.B on this Friday at 10 a.m and inform all members of marketing team B to join in
the meeting. The meeting would be about sharing and intimate talking together.

I understand that your team had negative feelings towards Cara’s behavior during all this
time. However, the most important thing is the work productivity and your team and
company’s objective, so temporarily ignore it and focus on work. I will give the best solution
so rest assured that everything will be fine. But how are you going to deal with Cara’s case?
People will not simply “ignore” her bad attitude because they had to tolerate for quite a time
before emailing you.

Dear Mr. Morton,

Thank you for informing us of Miss Cara Levington's lack of responsibility at work. I am
writing to respond to your request and give a solution to this problem. (ok)

This problem will be solved in the following order: Firstly, I need to investigate why she
started working irresponsibly last year by meeting her face-to-face and surveying other
members of Team B at the beginning of next week (7/19/2021). Secondly, she will be
criticized in front of the group and have her privileges revoked: prioritize work assignments,
and take leave in the next 3 months. Thirdly, the Team needs to come up with a working
schedule that requires her to have a specific plan about working hours, additional tasks for
Cara Levington (what do you mean? You mean she needs to have a specific plan for her
additional tasks, or you mean the team will give her additional tasks?). If violated (v-ing), she
will be demoted or suspended depending on the level. Finally, implement the 3-point policy
where staff receives a verbal warning, then a written warning, and finally get fired if she
continues to offense. It should be noted that this penalty will be applied to all employees who
work irresponsibly in the company. Do you think you need to hold a meeting or have an
official announcement about Cara’s case after investigation?

Dear Mr.Morton
I am writing this email to give you some solutions to deal with the problem of Cara Levington in our
team because of her irresponsibility at work has affected our efficency as well as working atmosphere
in our team.
I have received another email about this issue yesterday and your email is the second one. Therefore, I
determine to give all members in our team a new project that is BDM project to take on and work
together. Afterward, I will notice the way she contributes to this project. If I check it and she does not
her shares of work or does it carelessly with mistakes, I will criticize Cara (privately or publicly?)
because only one member in our team does not concentrate on the project, this will make our team be
stagnant. Besides that, Cara has been late 2 times in our previous team meetings, that can not (cannot)
be acceptable, so I have taken disciplinary action against Cara, if she does not improve this, the
discipline will be more serious. I know her mistakes slowed down our team so we have not done
Runway project perfectly, but the BDM project is the last chance for Cara, if she can not improve, I
think that I will present this to the manager immedietly and may be he will recommend that she
leaves our organization or he is going to have to move Cara on himself (unnecessary).
Don’t worry, I will deal with this problem apparently. Let’s focus on the new project, that is crucial.
Please contact me if you have any questions or other problems, do not hesitate to contact me via this
email or phone number 123456789.

Dear Mr. Morton,

Thank you for your email. I take our employee satisfaction seriously and are am glad to hear from

I have read your email about reporting Cara Levington's irresponsibility at work as well as working
atmosphere in our team. (when you wrote “glad to hear from you”, you don’t have to write this)

First of all, I think we should start a meeting and I want to listen to one by one explain their reasons
because I can't make a decision without hearing from both sides. I'm scheduled to have a meeting
tonight at 6pm after I've just finished work. I'll email you guys about tonight's meeting. (good move)

If it is true that Cara is causing (has caused) bad effects on work., I will take strong measures and send
this report to my superiors to remove her from the team to avoid negatively affecting the work.

Please let me know if you have any questions about my decision and tell me frankly about the
problems in the team so that we can work together effectively.

Dear Mr. Morton,

I'm writing this e-mail to respond to your complaint about Cara Levington's irresponsibility at work.
First of all, thank you for notifying me about the case of Cara. I have checked your e-mail carefully
and I decided to solve this problem as follows.

Firstly, I have to see whether the information and proof you give is correct or not. I will confirm this
issue with people in the team directly to make sure that everyone has a problem with Cara or just a
few people. Then I will meet Cara privately to ask about her irresponsibility at work recently.
• If she has a suitable reason like family or health problems, she has to prove that reason is true. Then
I will remind as well as discipline her in front of the team for the damage she caused to the team and
the company. If she cannot solve her personal problems and continues to affect the work of our team,
I will take her case to the supervisor so they can decide to dismiss or transfer her to another
department.
• If she doesn't have a reasonable reason and that reason cannot be acceptable, I will notify HR
department to deduct 5% of her salary for each time she was late and she has to take on responsibility
(what kind of responsibility?) to the supervisor for ruining the group's project. If she repeats this
mistake and affects the team, I will directly report her case to the supervisor and during that time I
won't let her participate in any of our team's projects .

If you find any further information or her behavior resumes before I find the reason or any questions
about my solution please contact me immediately via my phone number at 09090909 or this email.

Your sincerely,
Richard Johnson

It is ok to handle the situation like this, but be careful because usually in the final exam/ test, you only
have 30-35’ to write, and to my experience, to compose a mail at this length, it takes up to 45 minutes.

Dear Mrs. Morton,

This email is to inform you that your formal complaint has been forwarded to me and my resolution
(this should be changed to S-V).

First, I will contact Ms. Levington to warn her about her mistakes at work and find out what problems
she has made leading to the misconduct
Based on her problems whether it is appropriate for the above incidents to occur in order to provide a
solution (fragmented – this is not a sentence).
For rational reasons, our group will try to help her as well as (you mean “as much as”?) we can.
On the contrary, for improper reasons, subject? criticize in front of our team and report to
management.
how will the whole team know when your investigation occur, and the result of it?
To prevent re-occurrences, I will suggest having meetings to listen and discuss past, present and
possible problems, jointly develop solutions and specific discipline for those issues.
People who have problems affecting their work and the efficiency of the team must report and the
whole team will rearrange the work to achieve the best results. ok

Should you have any opinion about my resolution, please don’t hesitate to contact me via this email or

First of all, I am very appreciate because of your courage for contact to me in order to say the truth
and I am extremely grateful because you chose a positive solution instead of speaking out in front of
everyone which could be affect the workplace. I will personally investigate, clarify and an
interrogation will be taken place if necessary.

In case your complaints are grounded, I understand that not directly handling the situation will lead to
a disorganization of the group and a bad outcome.I will apply the current office rules in our company
such as salary deduction, holiday reduction,....If the bad incident directly affects the work, I will have
an interrogation with Cara Levington to clarify this, then if she continues to show a negative and
uncooperative attitude in the future, there will be appropriate punishments to her. I promise that I will
not let you or the group suffer injustices like this in the future.

Let me know if this is still happening or if there are similar problems. Thank you for your courage and
