Intersectionality

Intersectionality is defined as the intertwined nature of social classifications which

include; gender, class and race, in connection to an individual or group which create an

intersectionality is the ways in which diverse social identities meet, and affect the lives of groups

and individuals. Being aware of Intersectionality helps in acknowledging and grounding the

differences that exist from one community to another (Ramasubramanian 379). In

the limitations brought by intersectionality, and beat all the odds to make it to the White House.

Conclusion

Communication is an integral part of the daily human interactions, and social identities as

displayed by intersectionality play a crucial role in how people communicate with each other,

and how information is interpreted amongst groups and individuals. Intersectionality affects how

information is interpreted by diverse communities along racial, gender, and class lines. The more

intense intersectionality is, the more intense communication barriers become. The different forms

of intersectionality (structural, political and representational) are very evident in society, and how

people communicate with each other or express their views on issues affecting their society.

Intersectionality demands that Kamala Harris should not be United State’s Vice President

because of her gender and race. Intersectionality is truly a hindrance to progress in society.
