What is IMS

An Integrated Management System (IMS) combines all aspects of an organization systems,

processes and Standards into one smart system. This merger allows a business to streamline its
management, save time and increase efficiency by addressing all elements of the management
system as a whole.
A successful IMS cuts the unnecessary hassle and work of multiple management systems. For
example, instead of holding audits for each Standard, we will only need to hold one. An IMS allows
these processes to be combined so that they simultaneously cover all Standard-specific
requirements.
Therefore, the essence of IMS is consistent and simultaneous management of multiple aspects,
in this case
In brief, these three standards are:-
1. ISO 9001:2015- Focused on Quality
2. ISO 14001:2015-Focused on Environment
3. ISO 45001:2018- Focused on Occupational Health and Safety along with Process, Practices and
documentation.
All the Standards share a similar structure of 10 clauses, which makes it much easier to see the
similarities and shared processes of each Standard.
British Standards Institution (BSI) also defines Integrated Management System as an
“integration of processes, procedures and working practices in the organization to implement its
policy, which may be more effective in achieving the goals of the policy than approach by separate
systems”
SCOPE OF IMS
The scope aims at A unified whole Organization, all functions are aligned at a single goal ie
improving the performance of the entire Organization as a whole. A genuinely co ordinated
system one that is greater that sum of its parts and can achieve more than ever before.
A one structure management team that allows to effectively and efficiently deliver an
Organizations Objective.

1. ISO 9001:2015:
ISO 9001:2015 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a Quality Management
System. It helps Businesses and Organizations to be more efficient and Improve
Customer Satisfaction and Fulfill all the Quality management Requirements
So what is Quality management system ?
It is a way of defining how an organization can meet the requirements of its Customers and
other Stakeholders affected by its work.
ISO 9001:2015 is the world's most recognized Quality Management System (QMS) standard.
Its aim is to help organization meet the needs of their customers and other stakeholders more
effectively. This is achieved by building a framework to ensure consistent quality in the provision of
goods and/or services.

SCOPE OF 9001:2015
To start, there are three considerations to be included when determining the scope:
1. External and internal issues that are relevant to the purpose of the organization, the
strategic direction, and the ability to achieve intended results
2. Requirements of relevant interested parties

Establishing ISO 9001:2015 in the IMS has the following advantages as listed below:-

This system is a commitment to Protect Environment (flora and fauna) that will prevent pollution
and will continually improve the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we inhabit.

SCOPE of ISO 14001:2015
Scope of  ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its
Environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar
of sustainability.
It is applicable to any organization, regardless of size, type and nature, and applies to the
environmental aspects of its activities, products and services that the organization determines ,
It can either control or influence considering a life cycle perspective. ISO 14001:2015 does not state
specific Environmental Performance criteria.
ISO 14001:2015 helps an organization achieve the intended outcomes of its Environmental
Management system, which provide value for the Environment, the organization itself and
interested parties. Consistent with the organization's environmental policy, the intended outcomes
of an environmental management system include:
· enhancement of environmental performance;
· fulfillment of compliance obligations;
· achievement of environmental objectives.

What is ISO 45001:2018

ISO 45001 is the world’s International standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect
employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. ISO 45001 certification was
developed to mitigate(reduce) any factors that can cause employees and businesses irreparable
harm.
ISO 45001 has the ultimate goal of helping businesses provide a healthy and safe working
environment for their employees and everyone else who visits the workplace.
This goal can be achieved by controlling factors that could potentially lead to injury, illness and — in
extreme situations — even death. As a result, ISO 45001 is concerned with mitigating any factors
that are harmful or that pose a danger to workers’ physical and/or mental well-being.
Scope for 45001:2018
Creation of an OH&S policy that reinforces the objectives of the organization while taking into
account its internal and external contexts.
Establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an OH&S management system. Continual
improvement of OH&S performance.
