The type of research is Exploratory. The situation in the case study is ambiguous. There can be one or several
reasons for the increase in total recruitment costs.

Define research problems.

The company is suffering from 45% increase in their advertisement costs. Even though the costs for driver selection
and recruitment are the same, there seems to be an increase. There is no control over expenses on individual drivers.

Write research objectives.

The research aims to:

1. Identify the cause for increase in recruitment costs.

2. To find an efficient way to advertise openings.
3. To find a way to reduce the number of orientation and hiring sessions.
