Recommended Safe Job Procedure
3.1.1 Use standard and safe means of access such as
Ladders, Scaffolds or Mobile Elevated
Work Platforms.
3.1.2 Use fall prevention or fall arrest systems such
as safety belts or full body harness.
3.1.3 Ensure good housekeeping.
3.2.1 Use appropriate PPE to avoid contact with
electricity.
3.3.1 Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of
Ladders, Scaffolds and Elevated Work
Platforms.
3.4.1 Ensure work area is cordoned off to restrict
unauthorized access into work area.
3.5.1 Only qualified and experienced operators
should handle Mobile Elevated Work
Platforms. Fall arrest rescue plan should be
communicated to workers involved in working
at height.
3.1.1 Ensure trigger on spraying gun is on lock
position.
3.2.1 Wear respirators and wear appropriate clothing
3.3.1 Follow MSDS when cleaning spill and have
absorbent pads in place.
4.1.1 Bleed out trapped air and arrange hoses away
from walkway
4.2.1 Turn out excess paint into special containers and
take back to storage for proper disposal
according to MSDS
4.2.2 Carry out housekeeping and close out permit.
