Calling Israel from Abroad

The international dialing code for calling Israel is +972. When
dialing from your country, you first add the number to dial out
of your country, then Israel’s dialing code, and then the number
without the “0” that precedes it. For example, the International
School’s number is 03 738 4245 if you’re
dialing locally, but +972 3 738 4245
if you’re dialing from outside
the country (or using
your international
number in Israel).

General Safety On and Off Campus

Your safety and security are extremely important to us. We
don’t want you to feel uncomfortable or unsafe in any situation.
However, please remain aware and alert, and read the following
information to ensure you and your friends are safe at all times.

Safety in Residences or Campus Buildings

University campuses can give you a sense of security – a feeling
that everyone knows each other and watches out for one
another. Unfortunately, some will take advantage of this feeling
of safety and security to commit acts of sexual violence.
You can take an active role in increasing your safety or the safety
of those you care about. While there's no way to eliminate the
chance that something may happen, there are strategies that
may reduce your risk or give you the confidence to step in to
prevent a sexual assault or sexual harassment.
Although there are many sources online that will provide this
information, we’d like to suggest you read the information on
this website (www.rainn.org/safety-prevention) to find out how
to protect yourself and your friends. Please Note: Israel is a safe place to live and attacks of this
