Findings of the Study Figure 2

This chapter presents the results of the study As- Is Organizational Chart
on the system of Cagayan State University Sanchez
Mira Campus, Bachelor of Science in Information
Technology Department. It shows the currents set-up
of taking quizzes and assignments, issues, and
difficulties encountered along the areas of
organizational structure, processes, master data and
system requirements needed.

Current Set-up of Quizzes and Assignments along the

areas of:

The following are the current set-up of how

quizzes are done in Cagayan State University along
the areas on organizational structure, processes and
master data.

Organizational Structure. The dean is the

highest in authority within the I.T department and the
one who is obliged and entitled to decision-making
concerning the I.T department. Then the
department’s professors and instructors who are in
charge in supervising as well as teaching their
assigned subjects to the students who comes last in
the structure. (see figure 2)
Processes. The department does not have a
specific process in a manner of how taking of quizzes
is done. Rather each professor/ instructor has their
unique way of giving quizzes to their students though
there are major similarities on terms of how the quiz
is given.

Prior to the quiz, the professors/ instructors

will announce when the students will have their quiz
(discounting the surprise quizzes they sometimes
give), then the students are expected to prepare for
the quiz day. During the quiz, questions which were
prepared by the professors/ instructors are either
dictated or a questionnaire is given to the students to
be answered, also the aid of a projector is sometimes
used. Afterwards, the students either exchanges paper
with their classmates to check the answers or the

professors/ instructors collects the paper for them to
check, then return it later to the students to after
recording. (see figure 3)
