Th2 is stimulated by IL 4 (Th2) and inhibited by INF-y(Th1)

Th1 is stimulated by IL12 (macrophages) and inhibited by IL-10 (Th2)


Leprosy has 2 forms depending on which TH response predominates
C8 cells

---Extraordinarily important as they seem to be the only one to respond to intracellular infection
Two pathways of apoptosis
Both toxins produce massive stimulation of t helper cells
Those t cell with strong binding survive the cortex to the medulla. Once they do not bind strongly to
self antigens survive
