Feedbacks/Suggestion/Comment:
It was noted that almost all of the enrollees from Grade IV –VI have participated in
the My 120-Day Garden Journal which was started last February 2020. As visited by the
Grade IV-VI teachers, some participating pupils used the Ground Gardening while those who
do not have enough ground space used the container gardening. As of now they harvested
already few vegetables from their home garden. As noted as well that there was only one
pupil who do not have garden at home.
Reasons of Non-Compliance/Non-Completion:
No space for home gardening.

Problems Encountered:
1. Insect destroyed the plants.
2. Disease infestation.
3. Insufficient supply of sunlight.
4. Hot weather that caused irreversible damage to plant function and development.
5. Insufficient supply of water.
Reasons of Non-Compliance/Non-Completion:
1. Plants weathered due to hot season and insufficient watering of plants.
2. Plants died due to insect infestation.
Impression:
Gardening at home in this time of pandemic or even without pandemic can provide
additional income to the family and for home consumption. It can contribute or ease the
financial needs of the family. Aside from that, gardening promotes family bonding by
working together in caring their vegetables. Nowadays, we stay more at home and let’s
used that time by making worthwhile things and gardening is one.
