Helping students to choose a career would be pointless if they do not subsequently learn how
to find a job in the field they chose. Therefore, career guidance consists of providing job search
assistance. We generally do not learn job search strategy in the classroom. Thus, most people do not
have these necessary skills when they begin to look for employment. Hence, Career guidance needs
to be conducted for the students’ preparation for their future professions.
