COVID-19: Special Instructions for the Candidates

1) Candidates must maintain Social Distancing starting from point of entry in the Examination Venue till exit from the Examination Venue. This
Examination is going to be conducted following the Social Distancing Norms. There will be distance between two candidates.

2) Candidate must bring his/her own Mask, Gloves, personal Hand Sanitizer (50ml), Transparent Water Bottle, a Black/Blue Ball Pen and the
Examination related Documents like Admit Card, Original Photo ID Card, Name Change document of: i) Government Gazette, ii) Marriage
Certificate. No other items will be permitted inside the Examination Venue.

3) A Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on his/her mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu dashboard must show Candidate’s risk factor. A
Candidate will have to show this dashboard to the Security Guard at the Entry point of the Examination Venue. THIS IS MANDATORY. In case a
candidate does not have a smart phone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration to this effect ( The declaration is provided along with
this Admit Card) and show the same to the Security Guard at the Entry Point of the Examination Venue.

4) Candidates showing COVID symptoms WILL NOT be given entry into the Examination Venue

5) Candidates must maintain social distancing starting from point of entry in the exam venue till his/her exit from the exam venue. Staggered
Entry Time shall be messaged on the registered mobile phone one day prior to the exam.

6) Body Temperature of every candidates will be checked at the entry to the Examination Venue using Thermal Gun. The candidates whose body
temperature is within the acceptable limit will only be allowed inside the Examination Venue

7) Mapping of “Candidate Roll Number and the Laboratory Number” will NOT be displayed outside the Examination Venue to avoid crowding.,
The sitting arrangement will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of entry of the candidate to the Examination Venue after their
Admit Card is scanned by Bar Code Scanner and original Photo ID is verified.

8) Candidates need to follow directions given by the Representatives and will have to stand in the circles draw at the entry points

9) At Registration Desk, the Candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using sanitizer provided. Photograph of the candidate will be
captured during the Registration Process.

10) Candidates will be continuously under CCTV coverage throughout the On Line Examination process.

Important Instructions to the Candidate
1) The MHT CET 2020 will be conducted online with the help of Computer. Candidate will be required to enter Login ID and Password given on
the Admit Card to start the Examination. Candidate should ensure that his/her Name and other details which will subsequently appear on the
Screen are CORRECT. Candidate, in their own interest are advised to maintain secrecy of his/her Login ID and Password. It is the responsibility of
the Candidate.

2) Candidate are required to bring this downloaded Admit Card along with his/her own recent photo affixed thereon in the space provided.

3) Candidate should also carry currently valid Photo Identity Proof in Original such as PAN card/ Indian Passport/ Driving License/ Voter's ID
Card/ Bank Passbook with Photograph/Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on Official Letter Head along with Photograph/ Photo
identity proof issued by a People's Representative on Official Letter Head along with photograph/ Recent Identity Card issued by a recognized
Junior College with Seal and signature of the Principal /Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card with a Photograph.

4) Kindly remember that Soft Copy of the Aadhaar card or any Photo ID proof will not be accepted. Please note that your name as appearing on
the Admit Card (provided by you during the process of Registration) should reasonably match with the name as appearing on the Photo Identity
Proof carried by you to Examination Centre. Female candidates who have changed her first/last/middle name Post Marriage must take special
note of this. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Admit Card and Photo Identity Proof, you will not be allowed to appear
for the Examination. In case of candidates who have changed their name will be allowed only if they produce Gazette Notification/ Marriage
Certificate / Affidavit of Name Change in Original. Candidates who have made mistake in Name in the Application form and it is not matching
with Photo ID Card proof should bring the copy of the Application form and the Original Valid ID proof and Unconditional Undertaking
mentioning the error/discrepancy and the correct name in the Unconditional Undertaking with them with the photo of the candidate pasted on
the Unconditional Undertaking.

5) Information Brochure giving all instructions about the Type/Pattern of Examination is available on the website www.mahacet.org.and
https://mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in/ Candidates in their own interest are advised to download the Information Brochure and study it
carefully.

6) Candidate must bring a Ball Point Pen with him/her.

7) The mere fact that the Admit Card has been issued to the Candidate does not imply that his/her Candidature has been finally cleared by State
CET CELL or that the entries made by you in your application for examination have been accepted by State CET CELL as true and correct. It may
be noted that State CET CELL will take up verification of eligible candidates, i.e., Educational Qualifications and Category with reference to
Original Documents, only at the time of Admission of the Candidates who qualify on the basis of result of the On Line CET Examination.
Candidate may therefore please note that if at any stage he/she fails to satisfy the Eligibility Criteria as given in the Notification or the
Information furnished by him/her in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled forth-with with such further actions
as State CET CELL may like to take.

8) Your responses (answers) will be analyzed with other candidates to detect patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If in the analytical
procedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/concluded that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/valid,
his/her candidature may be cancelled and/or the result withheld.

9) Candidate must report at the Examination Venue Minimum 1 hour 30 minutes before the Reporting time printed on this Admit Card.
Candidates arriving late will not be permitted to appear for the on-line examination at any cost and candidate himself/herself will be responsible
for that.

10) Use of Books, Notebooks, Calculators, Watch Calculators, Pagers, Mobile Phone and all types of Electronic Gadget etc. is not permitted in this
Examination Hall. Candidates are advised not to bring any of the banned items including Mobile phones/pagers to the venue of examination as
safe keeping arrangement cannot be provided by CET CELL. Candidate himself/herself will be responsible for the safe custody of the Mobile
Phone/Electronic Gadgets. Any candidate found resorting to any unfair means or malpractice or any misconduct while appearing for the
examination including giving/receiving help to/from any candidate during the examination will be disqualified. The candidate should be vigilant
to ensure that no other candidate is copying from his/her answers.

11) Any request for change of Date/Session/Centre/Venue will not be entertained.

12) Despite the best possible efforts, the possibility of occurrence of some problem in the Administration of the Examination cannot be ruled out
completely which may impact Test Delivery and/or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem,
which may include movement of candidates; delay in Test. Conduct of a re-examination is at the absolute discretion of Test Conducting Body.
Candidates will not have any claim for a Re-Test. Candidates not willing to move or not willing to participate in the delayed process of Test
delivery shall be summarily rejected from the Process.

13) If the Examination is held in more than one session, the Scores across Various Sessions will be Equated to adjust for slight differences in
Difficulty Level of different Test Batteries used across the sessions. More than one session is required if the nodes capacity is less or some
technical disruption takes place at any center or for any candidate.

14) Instances for providing incorrect information and/or process violation by a candidate detected at any stage of the Admission Process will lead
to disqualification of the candidate from the Admission Process and he/she will not be allowed to appear in Admission Process of the State CET
Cell in the future. If such instances go undetected during the current process but are detected subsequently, such disqualification will take place
with retrospective effect.
15) Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage of Test Contents in any
form or any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the papers
supplied in the Examination Hall or found to be in unauthorized possession of Test Content is likely to be prosecuted.

16) Candidates are directed to sign on the Admit Card in front of the Invigilator. In No case Admit Card is to be submitted at the Centre.
Candidates must keep the Admit Card, along with their CET Form in Safe Custody after the Examination, since it will be required for the
Admission Process.

17) Candidate downloading this Admit Card is supposed to have read and accepted the Instructions printed on the all pages of the Admit Card.v

18) The Person with Disability shall bring original Disability Certificate, Scribe (if permitted/opted) and Scribe Form fully filled in and the photo of
the Scribe pasted in it. as is applicable.

19) Log Table will be available in Soft Copy on candidate’s System for solving problems. Hard Copy of the Log Table will not be permitted to be
carried inside the Examination Hall.

20) It is advisable to use Public Transport for arriving at the CET Test Centre, as parking facility is not available at the Examination Center.

21) Entry to Parents inside the Examination Premises is not permitted in any case.

22) In view of Mega Block/ Traffic Jams, candidates are advised to start early and reach the examination center on mentioned reporting time.
Outstation candidates are requested to visit their center a day before the Examination to avoid the delay in travelling and locating the
Examination Center. Candidates will be solely responsible to reach the Examination Center on mentioned reporting time and date. Candidates
reporting after the schedule reporting time will not be allowed in side.

23) Candidates who have filled in a) Wrong Name b) Wrong Date of Birth c) Uploaded the Wrong Photo d) Uploaded wrong Signature in the MHT
CET On Line Application Form should bring in an Unconditional Undertaking mentioning the Wrong information/ details filled and also
mentioning the correct details/Photo/Signature. Such Candidates will have to produce the Original Unconditional Undertaking and fill in the
Undertaking at the CET Examination Centre. The results of such candidates will be declared after the sanction/orders from Admissions Regulating
Authority.

24) The Candidates will be required to upload the Affidavit/Unconditional Undertaking atoning the mistakes committed in the CET Application
Form while filling in the Centralized Admission Application Form.

25) Provisional Answer Key of each version of Question Paper & Candidate’s response will be made available on Candidate’s portal after logging
in on the website https://mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in/ using candidate's user name and password as per the schedule.

26) MAHARASHTRA STATE Candidates who have filled in MHT CET 2020 application form mentioning their social category should apply for Caste
Validity Certificate well before in advance of starting of Centralized Admission Process. Caste Validity Certificate is essential document for
Admission Process.
