Shadow and their symbolic significance for modernity.
An essay by Imad Jafar deals with some instances of Islam’s relationship with Christian saints,
and comments on its relevance for our times.

their teaching stories.
Other essays deal with the relation of Being and Essence in Islamic philosophy; the symbolism of
the Gardens of Paradise; the symbolism of Christmas; and traditional approaches to modern art.
The journal also contains several book reviews and poems, including new translations of Ghazals
