VISION
Mission
To assist more communities via the funding of long-term income-generating projects.
Through internal workshops and open dialogue within the committee, members' relationships
will be strengthened and their abilities will be enhanced.
To create a healthy working atmosphere by showing empathy to the concerns of every members'
SMART Objectives:
1. To develop accessibility in statement and sheet templates, inventory and goal trackers,
feedback reply sheets, a list of sales and expenses, and other documents are included to
be shared within the organization.
3. The members' connections will be improved and their capabilities strengthened through
internal seminars and an open discourse inside the committee.
The major area for improvement for the organization is to have more diversified projects that
reach out to every NCPAG student and eventually encourage them to engage. For the
organization's ongoing and progressive development, a separate management structure is
necessary. Responsibilities and the obligations that come with them must be clearly defined.
Commitment to this will result in the establishment of an organized and efficient system that will
yield substantial outcomes, particularly in Organization Finances.
III. Questions
Evaluate the over-all performance of PALS-NCPAG during AY 2020-2021. What are your
long-term goals for the party, and how can you lead the organization towards it while
avoiding past party mistakes?
Because of the pandemic, it was difficult for the organization to adapt and adjust to the
"new normal". Despite the difficulties, the organization was able to generate successful projects
for the communities’ recipients.
Managing the organization's finances is a significant job, but one that I am eager to
accept. I can guarantee you that if I am elected to a position, I will do my best to fulfill it. I aspire
to be a constant and active member of the Finance and Logistic committee by assisting more
communities through sustainable income-generating projects, and to creating relationships and
improving members' abilities through internal workshops and open dialogue inside the
committee, as well as to establish a healthy work environment by active listening to members'
needs.
As the Finance and Logistics Director, I would make sure, with all the lessons I’ve
learned throughout my stay in NCPAG, that it is okay to have fun, be yourself and take a step
back every now and then. College life is not always about studying and learning, but also leaving
a legacy of advocacy for the next PALS members and NCPAG students as well.
What will be the biggest challenges for the organization this coming academic year?
Elaborate on the concrete solutions you aim to propose to address these challenges.
For me, everyday life is a challenge that must be overcome in order to live, and I believe
that the greatest challenge to this "new normal" is student burnout, which is why I advocate for
the organization to be a healthy environment where students can relax and cope with their mental
health while also learning. Create ties amongst committee members as well as with other
committees and organizations. Consolidate communication among the various committees.
What is a national issue/campaign that you believe PALS-NCPAG, and NCPAG students
should be at the forefront of? What steps will you take to ensure that we members fulfill
our responsibility to the college, the university, and the nation?
