Layers ,layers ,like a cake

The earth has layers it’s no mistake

First the crust ,hard, hard stone.

The mantle’s next ,a very hot stone ,

The outer core then one more,

The hottest part the inner core,

Layers, layers , yes there are four

From the crust to the core.

Converging we come together

Earth is changing course forever

Mountains forming and I wonder

If this is love , then I hope it never

Fades from sight like silken rainbows

I see him ,boom ,boom my heart goes

A tingle sent straight to my toes friends are all raising their eyebrows

So, throw me down to a volcano

He waits for me down below

Converging ,always with me in tow

We will always be together I know

There’s been a tectonic collision

Between the plates you and me

unexpected and destructive

Of walls and flat plains

Of distances that were only ever physical

We made mountains of defenseless earth

And unfathomable trenches in the hearts of oceans

Uprooting people

And cities towns and ideas

Just to suture our two

Continents together.

North America , south America

Europe and asia too.

These are the continents

waiting for you .

Africa, Australia

Antatica too.

Sox of them begin with A

Add Europe and that will do

North America , south America

Europe and asia too

Africa ,Australia,Antartica

Now you ‘re through
