COMMUNICATION CLUB ACTIVITIES
IPEM Communication Club has organized TURN-COAT, on 13th February 2021
(Saturday) in the seminar Hall. The activity's purpose was to give the speakers a
chance to present a topic on the spot. It was a test of a student's knowledge of a
subject as well as their ability to speak effectively in a structured way in a limited
amount of time. The purpose was to educate attendees on a variety of topics
while also allowing them to share their ideas and experiences. Participants were
given a specific topic and two minutes to prepare for this task. Participants were
required to speak for an extra 2 minutes on the assigned topic (1 minute in
support and 1 minute in opposition to the motion), either in English or Hindi. 45
students from all four departments participated in the event.
The judges for the activity were:-

COMMUNICATION CLUB ACTIVITIES
IPEM Communication Club has organized an online CREATIVE STORY
NARRATION, on 22nd April 2021 (Thursday) on Zoom Platform. The purpose of
the activity was to check the students' capacity to express their opinions on a
topic, the poise with which they delivered their speech, and their mastery of the
information to be presented to the audience, as well as their ability to express
their ideas on a topic. Students were given the exercise “Creative Story Narration”
to test their capacity to draw listeners in with their thoughts and how distinctively
they stand out in a crowd, as well as to give them a platform to test their ability to
captivate listeners with their thoughts.

Participants in this exercise were given pictures of three traditional stories ahead
of time, on April 20, 2021. (Tuesday). Students were given the challenge of
choosing a famous storey and recreating it uniquely, incorporating their creative
ideas. The candidates were given a minimum of 2 minutes and a most of 3
minutes in front of the judges to present their stories in a modified format either in
English or Hindi.

Organizational Behaviour for Business Sustainability in the Current Scenario”
was organized by the Institute of Professional Excellence & Management (IPEM),
Ghaziabad in collaboration with GAD-TLC, MHRD, Government of India This

conference focused on the critical reflection of existing concepts,
theories, or frameworks requiring refinement to carve a role for
Human Resource Management in creating sustainable
organizations. A total of 53 papers were received from the Faculty
Members, Students, Academicians and Corporate Delegates on
different aspects of the topic of the Conference. There were six
Research Papers from Academicians from different countries,
including Canada, China, the USA and Germany. The entire
Programme was divided into four sessions, i.e Inaugural Session,
Technical Session I and Technical Session II and Valedictory
Session. The International Conference was held on 27th February
2021 through online mode using Zoom and the YouTube platform
and was inaugurated by Col. (Dr.) A.S. Malhotra (Director General,
IPEM Group of Institutions), while other dignitaries were

addition, Faculty Members, Students, Academicians and Corporate
Delegates from other colleges/universities took part in the
deliberations during all the sessions of the Conference. Dr. Sonali

Sciences, Madhya Pradesh delivered the Valedictory Address and
declared the Best Paper Presentation. Dr. Nitu Maurya and Dr.
Mrinalani Pathak were the co-conveners of the International E-

Organizational Behaviour for Business Sustainability in Current Scenario” was

Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA) on 27th February, 2021

Basant Panchmi Celebration
(16th Feb 2021)
IPEM organized the Saraswati Pooja program on 16 February 2021
considering the importance of Basant Panchmi. Pooja begins at
11:00 am in front of “Maa Saraswati”. Dr. Sugandha Goel (Dean,
Academics), Dr. (Col.) A.S. Malhotra (Director General), Dr. Nishi
Sharma (Principal, CTE), Dr. Dolly Phillips (Head, Management
Department), teachers and students lit the lamp and worshipped the
Goddess Saraswati.
Scouts-Guide Camp
(1st- 6th Feb 2021)
IPEM Group of Institutions organized Scout & Guide Camp from 1st
March 2021 to 6th March 2021 in two groups (Group A and Group B)
3 days for each group for the B. Ed IInd year (2019-21) and D.El. Ed
students. The camp was organized under the guidance of Mr. Shyam
Singh (District Commissioner, Bharat Scout & Guide). The students
learned about different knots, Tent Pitching, First Aid, Pyramids,
stretcher making etc. At the closing ceremony, the students
showcased their vivacious talents through Tent Pitching and cultural
activities which were judged on different criteria by 4 judges,
including Dr. Nishi Sharma. Winners were awarded. Mr. Shyam Singh
motivated students to build strong character by being independent,
leading a life in a disciplined way and doing at least one good deed
daily.
Community Camp
(8th Mar 2021)
Center of Teacher Education (CTE), IPEM organized a Community
Camp for B.Ed. (Second Year) (2019-21) and D.El.Ed students on 8th
Mar 2021. The purpose of this camp was to create awareness of rural
area people with social, environmental and health-related issues.
This camp was organized in Dujana Village, Greater Noida. The B.Ed.
(Second Year) Students presented a NukkadNatak in front of the
villagers. The title of the Nukkad Natak was “Swachh Bharat
Abhiyaan”. In this Natak, some issues like cleanliness, sanitation
and environmental protection were raised. A Rally was also
organized by the IPEM students to aware the villagers about
Prevention from Corona, Water Conservation, Education, Health &
Hygiene, Gender Inequality, Nutritious Food and Plantation etc. Chief
Guest Gram Pradhan and teachers of Prathmik Vidyalaya of Dujana
village appreciated the efforts of IPEM students.

International E-Conference
(18th Mar 2021)
IPEM Group of Institutions has organized an International E-
Conference on “TEACHER EDUCATION GENERATION NEXT:
PERSPECTIVES, OPPORTUNITIES & CHALLENGES”, in collaboration
with GAD-TLC, Ministry of Human The Chief Guest was Prof. Ved
Prakash (Former Chairman, UGC, Ministry of Education, Govt. of
India, New Delhi, India) while National Eminent Speakers were Prof.
(Dr.) A. K. Bakhshi (Founder & Vice-Chancellor, PDM University) The
Guest of Honour was Prof. Nitza Davidovitch (Head Quality
Assistance & Academic Instruction, Ariel University, Israel). Some
Eminent International Speakers were Dr Aras Bozkurt (Turkey) & Dr.
Hanna Slobodianink (Ukraine). In this International Conference,
more than 35 participants presented their papers from different
countries like Israel, Ukraine, Sultanate of Oman, Turkey, United
Kingdom etc. 4 Best Paper Presenters (2 National-Dr. Manisha
Sinha, Sneha Ghosh and 2 International-Mahammad Mastan &
Mohammad A. N. Al-Azawi, Pipit Novita) were awarded by
Valedictory Speaker Prof. The selected papers will be published in
SCOPUS & UGC-Care Journals. The Conference ended up with a vote
of thanks by Dr. Nishi Sharma.
DR. B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti and Baisakhi Celebration
(14th Apr 2021)
A Collage making Competition and Dance competition was
organized in IPEM on 14th Apr 2021 to mark the celebration of DR.
B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti and Baisakhi. Following the government
guidelines, a competition was conducted online. So, participants
sent videos of their collage and dance. These procured videos were
played through Microsoft Teams. Results were announced and
winners got the Certificate on 15th April 2021 on MS Teams.
Guest Lecture
(14th Apr 2021)
CTE hosted an online guest lecture on “Public Speaking” via
Microsoft Teams. The resource person was Dr. Preeti Tyagi, Visiting
Faculty, New Delhi Institute of Management, Delhi. More than 300
students took part, learning about public speaking, interviewing, and
how to act in a public gathering.

CTE organized an Online Guest Lecture on “NEP2020-Online &
Digital Education” via Microsoft Teams on 19th May 2021. Mr.
Balram Singh, Visiting Faculty, Km. Mayawati Govt Girls PG College,
G.B.Nagar was the resource person. More than 300 students
participated and learned about the importance of Online and Digital
Education and ways of its practical implications according to NEP
2020.

International Webinar On Offences Relating To Women
30th January, 2021 (Saturday)
IPEM Law Academy organised an International Webinar on
“Offences Relating to Women” on 30th January 2021 (Saturday).
The speaker for the webinar was Prof. (Dr.) Seema Singh, Campus
Law Centre, Delhi University. The Webinar started with an
introduction of the topic by Ms. Neha Garg, Faculty, IPEM Law
Academy and then the speaker of the event was welcomed on the
Zoom platform to throw some light on some issues and much-
deliberated areas of the topic. Dr. Seema Singh focused on the right
to equality and the precedents which paved the way for the formation
of the laws for the protection of women. More than 250 participants
attended the webinar and fulfilled the purpose of the institute to
highlight this specific issue.
International Webinar On Cyber Crime & Ethics
6th March, 2021 (Saturday)
The International Webinar on Cyber Crime & Ethics was organised by
IPEM Law Academy on 6th March 2021 (Saturday). The guest
speakers for the webinar were Dr. Pavan Duggal (Advocate, Supreme
Court of India), Prof. (Dr.) Sachin Rastogi, Amity University. The
session was very informative and compendious in terms of the
different cyber crimes and their respective legal provisions under the
Information Technology Act, 2000 as well as under the Indian Penal
Code, 1860. The feedback of the participants was overwhelming and
it was a stimulating experience for all. More than 700 participants
attended the webinar live on the Zoom platform.
International E-seminar on Sexual Offences Against
Women
10th April, 2021 (Saturday)
The main aim of conducting a seminar on this topic was to enhance
the awareness among people towards various sexual offences that
are happening daily against women of all age groups and discuss the
lacunae existing in the laws in force. Various national and
international eminent scholars, researchers and activists were part
of this seminar, including Prof. (Dr.) S. C. Srivastava, Former
Chairman & Dean, Faculty of Law, Secretary-General National labour
Law Association, Presently in San Francisco, USA; Prof The e-
seminar began with the Introduction of the Theme by Prof. (Dr.) B.P.
Singh Sehgal, Director/Advisor IPEM Law Academy, The Welcome
Address was given by Col. (Dr.) A.S. Malhotra, Director General IPEM,
Further, Prof. (Dr.) S. C. Srivastava delivered the keynote address and
Prof. Manjula Batra delivered the Inaugural address. The whole event
comprised five technical sessions. All technical sessions covered
the comprehensive sub-themes of the International Seminar and our
eminent international and national speakers and paper presenters
presented the research papers related to their respective themes.
Approximately 50 research papers were presented in this
International E-seminar and presenters threw light upon their

respective topics through their thorough research. IPEM Law
Academy also released a book written by Prof. (Dr.) B. P. Singh
Sehgal, Director/Advisor IPEM Law Academy named “Centre-State
Relations under the Constitution of India”.
Medical Negligence
26th April, 2021 (Monday)
The internal moot-court competition was organised on 26th April
2021 for BA LLB IV/VI/VIII/X Semester Students and LLB IV/VI
Semester Students. A moot court activity not only helps in
enhancing legal knowledge, but also in brushing up communication,
drafting, legal research, and presentation skills. Most importantly, it
helps the students to increase their confidence. After presenting
moot, students get a taste of real court proceedings. The judges of
the activity were Dr. Neelam Seam & Dr. Meenakshi Tomar.
Online Internal Debate Competition
“FACE OFF”
5th May, 2021 (Wednesday)
The Law Academy presented a golden opportunity before the law
students to explore & improvise their oratory skills. Students can
mitigate their fear of speaking and enhance their ability of logical
argumentation by participating in a debate competition. The activity
was only for BA LLB II Semester Students in which a total of 31
participants registered for the event. Topics for the debates were –
“Online vs. Offline Classes” and “Social Media: Boon or Bane”.
Online Quiz Competition
15th May, 2021 (Saturday)
The pandemic has thrown many challenges before the students, but
the faculties are not letting it win. They are coming up with creative
ideas to involve their students in both curricular, and extra-curricular
activities, using online platforms. The Quiz Competition which was
organised by the Law Academy on 15th May 2021 was one such
example. The Conveners of the event, Dr. Neelam Seam and Mr.
Chetan Prakash, Faculties, IPEM Law Academy used Microsoft
Teams App and Google Form to conduct an Online Quiz Competition,
covering different areas like Constitution, Contract Law, Sociology,
Political Science, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Legal History,
Latin Maxim etc. A total of 71 students registered for the event and
61 participants attempted the quiz.
Online II Internal Moot Court Competition, June 2021
15th June, 2021 (Tuesday)
IPEM Law Academy organised the second internal moot court
competition of the current semester relating to “Juvenile Justice”. In
this competition, BA LLB IV/VI/VIII/X Semester Students and LLB
II/IV/VI Semester Students participated with great enthusiasm and
zeal. Each team had two speakers and one researcher and were given
10 mins in total to present their arguments before the judges. A total
of 15 teams registered for the event, out of which 10 teams
presented their arguments before the judges.

Online PPT Presentation Competition
19th June, 2021 (Saturday)
IPEM Law Academy conducted a PPT Presentation Competition on
19th June 2021 (Saturday) from 3 PM onwards. Each semester of BA
LLB and LLB participated. Students prepared a PPT on the topic
“New Education Policy” and presented their views on the topic
before the judges. The judges of the activity were Mr. Chetan Prakash
and Ms. Neeraj Nagar. The event ended up without any technical
hindrance and in the end, Dr. Neelam Seam, HOD, IPEM Law
Academy shared a few lines on the conduct of the event and
motivated students to participate in future activities.
