Case Study: Farmlife of Anita

Anita Unangreyna acquired a twenty hesctare farm just before she got married. Because of her
education and training in agribusiness, she was able to make the farm profitable by growing citrus fruits
and vegetables like onion and cabbage. In a short period, she was able to acquire a delivery truck and
various farm equipment. After five years, she allocated one hectare for poultry production which further
boosted her profits.
Her oldest child, Maria, graduated with honors at the University of the Philippines in Los Banos
with a degree in Agribusiness. She is now in charge in the production of fruits and vegetables in the farm
and is now thinking of selling the crops in other country.
The second and youngest child, Rodolfo, is now a fourth year college student at Central Luzon
State University in Munoz, Nueva Ecija. He is a consistent honor student in the College of Agriculture.
He is in charge in the poultry business.
Mrs. Unangreyna wants to establish pricing policy for both for her fruits and vegetables and
poultry business but she needs to prepare a financial report. She is thinking what to prepare in order to
establish pricing policy.
