Minutes of PTA Meeting

Section: 9B – GOLD
Date: November 13, 2020

Agenda:
1. Module Retrieval and Distribution Schedules for the First Rating Period;
2. Monitor Grade 9B – Gold students with missing module answers;
3. Increased parental involvement in their children's learning in Grade 9B; and
4. Managing Grade 9B students' home study under the new normal.

Proceedings:
1. Since the start of the school year 2020-2021, the adviser has detailed the retrieval and
distribution flow of modules. He also informed the parents about the advantages of
returning the modules on time, as well as the risks of failing to do so.
2. Some teachers have noticed that some Grade 9B students have missing module
answers and have submitted incomplete papers. The adviser urged parents to check
on the student's progress in his or her modules on a frequent basis.
3. To enable students remain on course with their modules, the adviser discussed how to
oversee home learning using the Weekly Home Learning Plan (WHLP) for each
subject, which was provided as an attachment to each module. He also went over the
components of the WHLP in detail so that parents could get the most from it.
4. Various students express their emotions of pressure. The adviser offered significant
guidance on schedule planning in the school's new conventional form of education.
