I. Introductory Concept

Are you ready for a new lesson? Great it’s good to hear that everyone is
ready!! Do you believe in the saying that “No two things are exactly the same or may
look perfectly alike?” Yes! Just like us! When God created man, he patterned after his
image and likeness, but still we are not like him it is because we are unique in our way.
We differ to one another. Like arts they differ from one another.

There are different kinds of processes, elements and principles too. Line, Shape,
color, value, form, texture and space are the elements of art. The principles of art
represent how the artist uses the elements of art to create an effect and to help convey the
artist’s intent. The principles of art and design are balance, contrast, emphasis, movement,
pattern, rhythm, and unity/variety.
A person cannot create art without utilizing arts elements and principles.
Elements and principles is all about labeling the components in which aesthetic is mainly
judged by in a universal way. New technologies are a more sophisticated evolution to our
previous process and methods that we have been developing and enhancing throughout
time.
