Rules & Regulation


1. Students of classes 7 to 10 will be the participants of this activity.
2. There will be 8 teams having 2 participants each.
3. Each team will choose their favorite poet and poem to disseminate.
4. Each team can take help of technology for showing their creativity.
5. Team can make PPT, create video or painting related to the poem and present
while reciting online.
6. Time limit will be maximum 5 minutes ( 2 minutes for Recitation & 3 minutes for
Dissemination)

Judgment Criteria
1. Voice Modulation - 5 Marks
2. Presentation- 5 Marks
3. Use of Props/Technology-5 Marks
4. Innovation -5 Marks

Rules & Regulation


Number of participants - 10 (Classes IX & X)

Extempore
1. Participant will be given a word, proverb or a phrase where he/she is expected to
give an impromptu speech for 1 minute on the topic.
2. The topic will be given 5 minutes before the competition.

Turncoat
1. The participant will speak both in the proposition and opposition of the motion.
2. The participant will be given 1.5 minutes to speak in favour and 1.5 minutes for
against.
3. Total speaking time 3 minutes.
4. The topic will be given a day before for preparation.
5. Reading out of entire speech is not allowed. One can keep a short note for
reference in Turncoat.
6. Participants will be judged in 3 categories.

Judgment Criteria
1. Content - 5 Marks
2. Presentation & style - 5 Marks
3. Use of Example & Facts - 5 Marks
4. Voice modulation & pronunciation - 5 Marks

Rules & Regulations:


1. It's an individual performance for students of class VII.
2. Student participants will create their own story based on any proverb.
3. Story telling will be done through puppets.
4. One or more backdrops must be used.
5. Students can use any one of the given six kinds of puppets :
² Stick Puppets
² Hand puppets
² Finger puppets
² Gloves puppets
² Shadow puppets
² Marionettes
6. Time limit will be 5 minutes.

Judgment Criteria
1. Content (Story creation) - 5 Marks
2. Performance -5 Marks
3. Creativity -5 Marks
4. Puppet Grooming and backdrops -5 Marks

Rules & Regulation
1. Role play to be executed by students.
2. Narration part to be done by students.
3. Background Explanation interpretation and reference to historical co text to be
enunciated by the student who take the lead.
4. There will be 2 teams for the dissemination.
First team- The Strife by John Galsworthy
Second team - The Tempest by Williams Shakespeare

Note. Drama to be discussed and its dramatic theme and expression to be


highlighted..... Enactment is only a complimentary part....

3. Originality -5 Marks
4. Presentation (media)- 5 Marks

A TRYST WITH ERUDITE
Date: 17th July, 2021

Time: 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm
Rules & Regulation:
1 The event consists of 4 authors & 2 anchors cum interviewers
2. Time duration is allotted 5 minutes for each author.
3. Time is divided in two sections- 2 min. for media presentation & another 3 min. for
the interview.
4. Anchors will take audience on Virtual Tour first, then an impersonated participant
will talk more about authors.
5. Presentation will be in PPT/video format.

Judgment Criteria
1. Content - 5 Marks
2. Pronunciation- 5 Marks
3. Originality -5 Marks
4. Presentation (media)- 5 Marks

ENACT AN ACT
Date: 17th July, 2021
Incharge : Ms. Ahana Sam & Ms. Rajni Time: 1:10 pm to 1:55 pm

Rules & Regulation


1. There will be 4 teams. Two teams, each from class 9th and 10th.
2. Each team will have a narrator and 2 actors.
3. Time for performance is maximum 5 minutes.
4. Participants can select any literary piece from novel to drama to enact in
front of the audience.
5. The enactment will be pre-recorded in a zoom meeting and later be
played in the main event.

Judgment criteria
1. Content - 5 marks
2. Pronunciation & Modulation -5 marks
3. Presentation -5 marks
4. Costume & Props -5 marks
