2. How do you say so?

____ _____The Philippine has all 4 elements of a state which are Government, Sovereignty
Territory and Population. The Philippine have over 110 Million Filipino people and have
approximately 300,000 sq. km. of land area. The country is ruled by the Philippine Government
led by the president. The sovereignty of the Philippines is exercised by the president.

Examine the rights of the states. Apply these rights to the rights of the Philippines as a
state. Provide examples below of each right and how it is practiced in the country.

Rights of States Practices in the Philippines

The right to independence The government of the Philippines have

absolute control to the country. We are led
by a Filipino and not by other country.

The right to equality Filipinos and foreigners here in the country

have equal rights. Everyone is treated as an
equal.

The right to existence and self-defense

The right to territorial integrity and The country has Philippine coast guard, Air
jurisdiction National Guard and other soldiers that
guards the country.

The right to legation U.S has bases here in the Philippines that is
used by the U.S military for routine check
every year.
