Consultation Proposal
OVERVIEW

We are pleased to offer you AlmaConnect’s Job Consultation Program to help you in your job
search, by getting visibility in your alumni network for which we will be sharing your profile with
the industry professionals of your network and requesting referrals in their current company.

In exchange we will expect a success fee once you have received your 1st month salary from the
company where we had helped you to reach out to.

TERMS

1. Engagement Period:
The total engagement period of this MoU shall be 6 months. If you accept a Job offer
within a period of 6 months from the date of signing of this MOU, then you will be liable to
pay the fee, but only after you finish the first month at the new company.

2. Payment Terms:
The consultation fee shall be 3% of your annual CTC (defined below) of your new job or
Rs. 25,000 (whichever is more), plus applicable taxes (18%). The fee shall be payable
within 30 days of your joining at the new company.

The fee shall be liable under any of the following events:

1. You join any of the companies where you got referred through AlmaConnect
2. You join any of the companies which reached out to you through us. That shall be
tracked via the virtual number / email ID that we shall provide to you during the
process. NOTE - Please be cooperative in sharing the verification code for the
new email id creation and do not change the password later.
 Definition of annual CTC:

CTC consists of Fixed + Variable pay + Any other bonus that the company has offered as
part of the Annual Package apart from ESOPs. For ex: If you are offered an Annual CTC of
20LPA with the following breakup

- Gross Fixed Salary Component of 13LPA

- Bonus (Joining/ Retention/ Performance) of 3LPA
- PF + Gratuity + Other Benefits of 2LPA
- ESOPs worth 2LPA
Then the success fee would be calculated on 18LPA (13+3+2) and won’t include
2LPA which was part of ESOPs
- Final Success fee in this example = 3% of 18L = INR 54000 + applicable taxes

MOU Termination

1. This MOU will automatically terminate after a period of 6 months from the date of signing
the MOU, unless otherwise stated by you.
2. You can terminate the MOU at any point of time within these 6 months as well stating a
valid reason to do so.
1. In such a case, AlmaConnect will stop any further outreach for your candidature
from that day itself
2. In case, you receive an offer from a company where your profile was already
shared through AlmaConnect, then you would still be liable to pay us the success
fees, since we would have already done the outreach for them

FAQs

1. What if I don’t like the job offer that I received from a company I was introduced to.
You should accept a job offer & join the company only if you are convinced, you are not
obliged to join because of us. Only if you end up joining the company shall we charge
you the fee.

2. What if I join a company where I had been introduced through you even though I got
the offer because of some other reference or source.
If you join a company where we had introduced, within 6 months of introduction, then we
will charge you a fee. However, if the offer is rolled out to you post these 6 months then
 we won’t charge. Our fee is symbolic of our effort to make successful reach outs for you, it
may happen that something else clicks for you in between however it is not possible for
us to track such events & maintain transparency. And so to avoid any confusion we have a
clear policy here.

3. How will the progress be tracked?

We will allocate a dedicated virtual phone number and an email id to you. The virtual
number would be mapped with your mobile number, so all calls received on your virtual
number will be tracked by us and any company that would call you through this number
shall be considered an introduction done via AlmaConnect. Also, from all the emails that
will be received on the email id that we will create on your behalf. We will take the liberty
of updating this number and email id on your resume before we share your profile with
your alumni network

4. Are you associated with my college for this service?

No, this service is an independent offering from AlmaConnect and has nothing to do with
your college.
