1. Interpreting is the process of translating native language to target language orally.

Interpreter is the person who translate the spoken language.
2. Hal yang membuat interpreting dan translating itu berbeda yaitu prose
penerjemahannya.

-can translate a sentence which means approaching the original.
- can translate a sentence naturally and not too raw.
-the translator must be able to distinguish between formal, raw, and personal sentence.
3. The history of interpreters occurred when people from various regions wanted to
communicate, especially in trade, but at first, it was difficult for people to communicate
because the language used was different, so it was necessary to have someone who
translated. Therefore, people begin to learn the target language they want to master,
called an interpreter.
4. Interpreter acts as a communication bridge between two people who have different
languages.
5. Skills that needed to be an interpreter:

6. -Simultaneous Interpreting is the process of verbally translating from a source language
to a target language simultaneously with the source language speaker.
-Consecutive interpreting is the process of verbally translating from a target language
with a pause after the speaker will then be translated by the interpreter.
7. The strategies usually used by interpreters are note-taking, sentence simplification,
summaries, active listening, sharp listening, and the use of notes.
8. The interpreter must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the information contained
in the material translated by the client, not to interfere in the client's personal affairs,
discipline, and professionalism in work.
9. Source language : is a native language or language which is to be translated into
another language.
Target Language : is a language that is translated into another language.
Working Language :means that the translator can translate and fluently between the
source language and the target language even in complex contexts.
