Requirements by Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) to issue

No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for Infrastructure and Road Projects

The issuance of NOC by ADSSC requires the applicant to follow three steps:
1) Apply for “Request for Information” manually at ADSSC customer service
counters. Please do not include any statement related to issuing NOC in this
application, just request information for the area/project route.
2) Evaluate and compare ADSSC existing assets for conflict with the proposed or
approved route and then complete all requirements mentioned below.
3) Apply for NOC at ADM website (ADSSC division is clearly shown along with other
NOC entities in the plans of ADM application No. 0.1.1 Construction NOI, as
Drainage).

 Request for Information:

1) Letter from applicant clearly indicating a “Request for Information”

2) Undertaking letter by applicant (Contractor or Consultant)

3) Town Planning Sector of ADM approval letter of the route

4) Town Planning Sector of ADM approved route

5) Applicant drawings of the route

6) Google map showing project routes

7) Work order from project owner

Notes:

 Submit the application in soft & hard copy


 For any clarifications, contact ADSSC customer service counters.
 No Objection Certificates:

1) A letter from Contractor (or consultant) addressed to ADSSC clearly


indicating a request for “No Objection Certificate” with official project
name, owner name, consultant name, contractor name, project location
(area and zone), utility type, and brief description of work requiring the NOC
(i.e, whether for relocation, protection, or by-pass). In case there is no
conflict, consultant and contractor must indicate this in the NOC request.

2) Letter of appointment of contractor or consultant by Project Owner

3) An Undertaking letter from the consultant or the contractor (in a format


acceptable to ADSSC)

4) A recent site plan validated by ADM (for work in plots)

5) Validated infrastructure route by ADM (for infrastructure projects)

6) Method statement of the work approved by both consultant and contractor

7) Detailed cross sections and drawings of the assets in case there is a conflict
with ADSSC assets (in both DWG and PDF format) and detailed drawings of
the proposed relocation, protection or by-pass solutions (in case of
relocation or conflict with assets)

8) Prior comments given by Technical Services Section of ADSSC (in case the
application was previously reviewed or discussed with TSS)

Notes:

 Above are minimum requirements, ADSSC may have additional


requirements depending on the situation and the method
statements/drawings submitted by applicant and the type of solution
proposed by the applicant
 For NOC during design most of the above will apply to the consultant.
