Gap: After reviewing the various research papers /

literature review we found that no researcher had observed

the chronological changes in the definition of women
empowerment within last two decades. So, we will try to
observe these changes in a chronological order and try to see
the impact over economic aspect in their livelihood.

Objectives:
1. To determine the chronological changes of women
empowerment within last two decades.
2. To determine the impact of these changes on
economic aspect in their livelihood within last two
decades.

Statement of the problem:

Empowerment is a multi-dimensional term which involves
several factors in order to be implemented correctly. It’s
meaning has changed over the period of time. So, it is
important to understand the meaning of empowerment in a
proper way so that we can implement it properly at ground
level for making our women empowered.
Along with this, while studying several research papers, we
analyzed its definition in last two decades. So, we want to
analyze the chronological changes in the definition of
empowerment in a more effective way including all those
factors which are very important for its implementation in
reality. These factors will be more suitable for our society of
research and we will also try to capture the changing
prospective in the definition of empowerment ignored and
economic empowerment specially over the period of time and
want to see the economic impact of these chronological
changes on the women’s life within last two decades with
some variable.
