Assignment# 1

Due to the lockdown I am very much bored because me and my husband go to

explore some part of the country twice in every month. So, I was thinking after
the lockdown period is over, where can we go. I have already visited the sea
from Chittagong, Coxsbazar, Saintmartin and Kuakata, so this time I should try
mountains. We both never visited Bandarban zone, so this should be the best
Idea. Bandarban is one of the famous place in our country, where tourists can
enjoy the hilly terrain landscape, staying closer to clouds. Within the passage
of time, numerous resorts and hotels established there base in that area to
attract the nature loving people. I have researched the resorts over there and I
think Sairu resort would be the best option.

My husband first discovered the Sairu resort in facebook first. later, I started
googling and found some extraordinary pictures and reviews of that place.
After doing detail analysis and appreciation, we have decided to book that
resort and waiting finger crossed for spending a good time there after the
lockdown.

According to google and their website, It will take approximate 40 minutes

time to reach the resort from Bandarban bus stop by our jeep. The resort has
got a spacious parking space and the entrance is just alongside the main road.
We have booked for a premium room, the top most room of the resort.
According to the description at their website it should be really a pleasure
seeing the room and total ambient.

As the room is at the highest pick of the resort, therefore we can enjoy the
hilly beauty to the fullest . The room is equiped with all modern facilities.
Although they have internet facility in the room but the signal strength is very
poor according to the revews but all limitations should be superceded by the
view from our room.

As per the photos and videos I have seen, the resort is quite spacious, thus, it's
a laborious job to walk around following the uphill metal roads. They provide
support of mini golf car to transfer luggages. The resort is a perfect example of
modern architecture keeping the natural beauty untouched. Whole area is
designed by highly professional architect and engineers. Worth mentioning
that, the place is highly secured and protected.

Finally, after the research, I think Sairu Resort is a great place to spend a
quality time with family and friends. Although, they inaugurated recently, I
am sure, they will flourish more in upcoming days. I am waiting eagerly for
the lockdown ending.

Assignment# 3

Times are scary and uncertain but one of the positives to come out of this
so far has been peoples’ abilities and willingness to come together and
help each other. We’re always told that we live busy, selfish and
fragmented lives but the way individuals and businesses have stepped up
to help their communities has been nothing short fantastic.

Social media has played a massive part in that. We’ve seen it before in
other dire situations but its ability to keep us all connected can’t, and
shouldn’t be, underestimated. The lockdown has created a new time of
forced isolation and the possibility of that becoming a strain on our mental
health is real. Our options to interact, mix and socialise have been taken
away.

Having the ability to go online and see first-hand that you’re not alone and
not in your own bubble of struggle is huge. It’s been inspirational to see the
world connecting, sharing positive stories, tips and ways to get through this.
That’s when social media comes into its own; when it truly connects,
motivates and enhances our lives. It should be a force for good.

However, on the flip side, it’s essential that we are all careful about how we
use platforms during the Coronavirus crisis; especially when it comes to
information overload. The sheer amount of information out there, including
‘fake news; is now greater than ever. This quite naturally leads to
overthinking and different forms of anxiety. It’s not helped by the fact that
we’re only allowed to leave the house once a day for exercise. Our
perspectives and realities are completely out of sync.
In a time where we need to band together as one, initiatives like
Facebook’s Stay At Home story feature at Insta, which encourages users to
share their videos of them following government guidelines, and
Facebook’s Information Centre can directly encourage social behaviours
that will ultimately save lives. I also passionately believe that it’s important
publishers bring some kind of respite to their followers. Sharing a story or
moment that is inspirational and motivating can add so much value to
someone’s day. The public’s ability to laugh and maintain its of humour as
a coping mechanism - even in dark times - should never be
underestimated.

Now more than ever people still want to see things that brighten their day
and lift their mood. The surge in live stream exercise sessions like HIIT,
pump, yoga, meditation - and obviously Joe Wicks’ insanely popular PE
classes - has also been a game-changer. They’re all about positivity and
are designed to help.

It’s easy to get hung up about the negatives that can be associated with
social media, but I feel that during this time of isolation people need to see
the benefits of how to engage with it in a healthy manner – especially if we
see someone struggling or being unusually distant as small gestures can
go a very long way. We’re all in this together after all.
