Chapter 1

Introduction

I come up this title about "Producing Fresh Fruits and Vegetables for
Area Urban Restaurants", it is a suitable thesis proposal for examining the
benefits of establishing an inner-city garden to supply local public food
establishments. To create a sound assessment, we agricultural student can
choose a representative sample of participating restaurant owners and
their produce buyers to determine what fruits and vegetables they use. To
evaluate need, surveys can ascertain the distance and lengths buyers will
go to obtain fresh produce and how much they spend weekly or monthly in
their quests.

It provide good benefits to every restaurants in urban cities because


they can assure that every products they have are fresh and best for their
business/restaurants. Also the farmers are benefited to this because they
can produce their supply as soon as possible when the time of harvest.

Objective

These studies are able to:


 give benefits of establishing an inner-city garden to supply
local public food establishments.
 create a sound assessment between farmers and
restaurants owner.
 produce buyers to determine what fruits and vegetables
they use.
 to obtain fresh produce and how much they spend weekly
or monthly in their quests.

Body of Content

This study focuses on producing fresh fruits and vegetables for


Urban Restaurants. Where the farmers need to provide goods to a
certain restaurants. In that way, Urban restaurants assure the their
goods collected from the farmers has the best qualify. In addition, the
restaurants itself can negotiate directly to farmers for the fruits and
vegetable needed.

To be able to provide a best foods to costumers, they assure that


the fruits and vegetable they collected are best for their menu.
Assuming that, the place where the fresh fruit and vegetable came from,
that place are being protect by any things to avoid insect and any
bacteria that can desolate the fruits and vegetable.

This study refers to the best negotiation between farmers and the
Urban Restaurants owner, so that both of them receive good feedback
from the consumer/costumers of their product and goods.

If this study happen in a certain community or city, people are


main beneficiary of this thesis.

In conclusion, people should do as best as they can to live better


in this world. Produce the best and everything will be confidence to work
every day in our daily life.

Abstract

I think these studies will give knowledge between farmers and


restaurants owner about Fresh Fruits and Vegetables. The Farmers itself
are able to produce fresh fruits and vegetables for them to benefits in
return. In Urban Restaurants, particular businesses who use fresh fruit
and vegetables provide value quality of their food and pay attention to
origin, growing their business and production conditions of their
restaurants for them to sustain the needs of the people or their
customers.

Producing fresh fruits and vegetable for urban restaurants surely


grow rapidly because it sustain best products and helps both parties
between farmers and Restaurants owner.
