FINAL EXAMINATION

GENERAL DIRECTION:
This test is worth 50 points, read carefully each directions written in each type of test.
Answer this test in Four (4) hours ONLY. Late submission will be subject to a
corresponding deduction.

Test I
Instruction: Plot the Lot Data Computation (LMB Form No. GDS-B-11) provided below
using Autocad software. Use the template for the Sketch Plan provided. Observe proper
scaling. Attach the screenshot of the plotted LDC. Submit also the LDC drawing file. (40
Points)

Test II

Direction: This is a test of your writing skill. Answer the question by writing a clear and
logical analysis and use language precisely. (10 points)

Discuss the preparations to be accomplished as part of the Survey Camp Final Report.
Include the survey returns needed for the approval of the submitted survey.

In the Survey Camp Final Report, preparations of all the necessary documents to
submitted for approval to the DENR takes place. First is to compute and prepare the
complete and final Lot Data Computations. Next is to plot and print out Survey plans then
print the sketch plan of the lot area. After completing those documents, the assigned
verifiers will stamp and affix their names and signatures on the required documents such
as the Lot Data Computations, traverse computations, sketch plan, field notes, monument
description book, etc. If defective, prepare a pending letter to the contractor informing
him/her of the defects, to be signed by the Regional Technical Director (RTD) for Lands
concerned. If found in order, the Chief of Regional Surveys Division shall sign the
necessary documents for approval by the RTD for Lands.
The Geodetic Engineer’s certificate shall be prepared on prescribed form for each
case/barangay, each bearing the original signature of the Chief of Party, dry sealed, duly
notarized and submitted as part of the survey returns. The complete survey returns will
now be submitted to the DENR to be able to secure the Certificate of Technical
Description. If all the necessary documents were verified and approved, we can now
submit the complete documents to the client. These includes two (2) copies of the
Complete Set Survey Returns (submitted and received by the DENR), five (5) copies
DENR’s Certificate of Technical Description (originally signed), two (2) hard copies of
complete Project Documentation, two (2) soft copies of the Complete Project
Documentation, two (2) soft copies containing the Auto CAD file of the Survey Plan and
excel file of the final Lot Data Computation.
