Read Me Please

Here are steps to update your Deity Connect firmware:

1) Unzip the .Zip file (you probably already did that because you are reading this.)

2) Place “.bin” file onto the root of a FAT32/ExFat USB stick (MicroSD card works for
HD-TX and BP-TRX)

3) Use the USB-C to USB Type A adapter included with your Deity Connect Kit to
connect the USB stick to one of your Deity Connect devices

4) For the BP-TX select (Menu > Update > Continue), for the DUO-RX select (Menu >
RX > Update > Continue), for the HD-TX select (Menu > System Settings > Update >
Continue )

5) Your device is now up to date, repeat steps 3 & 4 till all of your Deity Connect devices
are up to date. While earlier firmware devices can pair together, you will be limited in
your ability to remote control your devices that are still running earlier firmware on them.

6) You will/may need to re-pair your transmitters and receiver now. Go to ( Menu > Pair
> highlight the word YES ). Press YES on both devices at the same time.

You will also want to change the USER ID from the default to prevent encryption
inference between the two transmitters.

7) Rock on and kill it on your next video production!
