Title: Possitive effects of science on food

During the development of the world, science has brought new breakthroughs and

brought great inventions to help people escape backwardness. No one can dispute

the great importance of science. In the recent past, we have begun to use

scientific knowledge hat we have accumulated over generations to create

innovations in the food we use every day in order to bring many benefits to

humankind.

One of the most positive things science has on food is the genetic modification of

agricultural and industrial crops. This is aimed at creating the best plants that can

be adapted to any habitat and to bring many nutrients to consumers. A more

concrete example, as you know, rice is one of the main foods in Vietnam and also

one of the main commodities exported to the world. But due to the increasingly

severe climate change situation such as drought or saline intrusion, which is

happening in western Vietnam, Vietnam's rice production industry has been

heavily affected. Therefore, scientists have tried to create a rice strain that can

withstand the unpredictable climate change. This helps to avoid food shortages for

people as well as ensure that rice can be exported to major markets around the

world and bring large amounts of income to farmers here.

Another benefit of applying science to food is to create more specific artificial

ingredients that make artificial meats with chemical liquids. This is still a

controversial issue among consumers. Some people believe that the use of
chemical foods will be harmful to their health as well as the taste of it is not as

good as the real meat and has a much higher price. But the truth is they have so

many great benefits. First of all, the purpose of the scientists who made this dish

did not want the Earth to be destroyed by greenhouse gas emissions by raising

animals that consume a lot of fuel and resources. According to environmental

experts, emissions from livestock production is greater than emissions from active

vehicles. In addition, we do not need to use violent acts against animals. Secondly,

the population of the earth is growing rapidly with more than 8 billion people while

livestock always needs a large area so limiting the use of real meat will be very

helpful for saving space.

To sum up, science on food has brought great benefits to humanity and helped

people improve their lives for the better. Without these innovations, they could face

challenges like rice in Vietnam. Through these things, we must cherish the food

that we eat every day because it is an effort of those who have created and

researched the desire to bring good things to everyone in the world.
