The Springtime Blossom Square

The story behind the square

This square is part of a really fun and special game called #whatwhereyouthinkinggame. First, Tess
@crochetedbyTess (@sistersinstitch) and Jill played the game and created the beautiful Patch of Poises square and
after that Jill thought that it was so much fun that she couldn't wait to ask me to play along with her.
I felt very honoured and of course I was absolutely delighted to say yes and start designing my first pattern ever
with her, so we quickly got to it. I created the first round and Jill continued with the second and so on. We took
our time as life & other crochet commitments had to be done but we came back to our shared project whenever
possible and we were so eager to see what ideas the other one had come up with.
"It really became something special when Yralmy created round 5, our pattern really had a direction at that stage.
A second round of pretty petals flowed easily off our hooks, then to square it up and create the most gorgeous
flower we have made together" - Jill said.
We called it the Springtime Blossom because we completed the square right in time for Spring in Australia and
the blossom had bloomed from the combination of our two minds.
It was a really fun and awesome game to play with Jill, we can't believe how beautiful this square is.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and we would love to see yours too, so please let us know when you
make it by sharing it on Instagram using #springtimeblossomsquare, #whatwhereyouthinkinggame and
#whatwhereyouthinkingsquare. Enjoy it.
