Rationale/Purpose of the Activities

Teaching as they say, is the noblest profession because it aims to develop an
individual wholistically and become country’s greatest asset.
It is a fact that there are lots of challenges faced by teachers and school which in
one way or another affect their professional and mental health.
Thus this orientation and assessment activity with the theme, “Empowering
teachers amidst the pandemic”, aims to enhance teachers’ ability in dealing with
stress-related issue in their work, develop healthy mind amidst different learning issues
during pandemic and the development of psychosocial health.
DepEd Order No. 14,s. 2020, contains the guidelines on the required health
standards in basic education offices and schools. This DO is concern on the welfare of
teachers especially during this pandemic.

Objectives and Outputs

At the end of the activity ,participants are able
to:
