To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter of recommendation for Susanna. She has been an asset
to Amherst Middle School and has shown an eagerness to hop in wherever needed. She presents with
great enthusiasm and a love for teaching and learning. Her demeanor is calm, collected, and nurturing.
Students take to her style quickly as she engages them in hands-on and experiential learning activities.

Susanna served Amherst Middle School as a long-term substitute for our specialized English Language
Arts program and reading intervention and support during the 19-20 School Year. After a successful run
in that position, we asked Susanna to join our Extended School Year team. Susanna persevered in a year
of unpredictability and easily adapted to the remote learning modality. Her technology skills were an
asset to our programming. This past school year, Susanna provided remote library support to our teachers
in which she provided weekly resources to teachers, curated resources for specific grade level projects,
and updated our Extension site with deep learning activities. This summer Susanna will be working our
Title I programming as an ELA instructor.

Susanna would be an asset to any program or school. Please feel free to contact me with any further
questions.

Sincerely,
Heather Jennings, EdD
