Slave Side
Use the remaining SMA-m RF jumpers of the the Slave cable kit in order to connect the UL and DL ports of each
TFLN with a pair of UL and DL ports of the TSRX-244/8 board (up to 8 TFLN units can be connected this way).
3 different jumper lenghts are provided to allow proper cabling.
Use a specific torque wrench to fix the RF cables to the RF ports.
NOTE If less than 8 TFLNs are used on the Slave side, make sure to cover the unused UL and DL ports of
the TSRX-244/8 board with SMA loads (not provided).
WARNING! Make sure to connect DL and UL RF ports properly.

WARNING! Make sure to connect:

-the DL optical jumper to the optical port of the TSRX-244/8 board;
-the UL optical jumper to the optical port of the TDTX-300 board.

Both at Master and Slave side, connect

the TPRNx4 power cable and switch on
the sub-rack.

WARNING!
For a correct system start-up, Remote
Units must be switched on before the

relevant Master Unit.

NOTE
Refer to TFLN Installation Instruction for proper discovery procedure
of the Slave subrack.
TO REMOVE ONE OF THE UNITS:

9
- Switch off the relevant TPRNx4 power supply, remove the fibres, insert the
caps
- Disconnect the RF jumpers
- Unscrew the 4 screws and slowly remove the card
