This project is an Enhancement and Support kind of Project related to the Life Insurance. It has
various systems involved in it. They are General Policies Systems, Maturity Systems, Claims
Systems, Loan Systems and Report Systems.

It receives files from different source systems which handle agents related data and calculated
agents commission based on their policies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Developing Technical and Functional designs to enhance existing mainframesystems.

 Coding the programs, Jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and DB2 for applicationdevelopment.
 Modifying the existing batch components and coding the newprograms
 Always maintained the quality product before we move in toproduction.
 Preparing the Unit Test Plan andExecution.
 Preparation of Unit Test plan (UTP) andUTR.
 Monitoring the production Jobs and sending the daily status to customer during releasetime.
 Investigate and resolve application batch abends occurred during production batchexecution
