Mr. Alexander: Hey Mr.Marshall! I am good. Really glad to meet you. Please come inside. (Take a
pause) Have a seat sir. I hope you did not find any difficulties in reaching here.

Mr.M: Yes sir, I followed what you directed. It was a smooth way.

Mr.A: What would you like to have, sir? Tea, coffee, or juice?

Mr.M: Tea works for me.

Mr.A: That is great, sir.

Mr.M: Thank you sir for scheduling a meeting today. I was leaving for Toronto tomorrow, and it was
important for me to finalize things before I leave.

Mr.A: I completely understand, sir. (After a pause) If I may ask, what do you do sir?

Mr.M: I am a Senior Consultant at Bain & Company for their Toronto office. I manage projects
related to M&A, market entry and market pricing. Now they want me to head the projects at their
Gurugram office.

Mr.A: That’s a great profile sir. It takes years of efforts to be able to reach to that position. So, now
are you planning to shift with your family?

Mr.M: Yes sir.

Mr.A: That’s nice. (After a pause) So, Mr.M from where you completed your education?

Mr.M: I was born and brought up in Delhi sir. I competed my schooling from Springdales, Pusa Road
and my graduation from Delhi University. Since then, I have been working with Bain.

Mr.A: Oh, I am so pleased to hear that. I did my graduation from Delhi University too. Really nice to
meet a DUite after so long. After all, we all were victims of the same system.

(both of them share a laugh) (take a pause)

Mr.M: And what about you sir? What do you do?

Mr.A: I am from Gurugram sir. I manage my own business. We are into manufacturing of automotive
components for aircrafts. We export our entire production. We have our factories in Manesar.

Mr.M: That is impressive. Who are your current clients?

Mr.A: We supply it to both Boeing and Airbus.

Mr.M: What are the primary components in which you deal?

Mr.A: We supply them wings, power plant and landing gear.

Mr.M: Do you make it for Low-cost carriers or Full-service carriers?

Mr.A: We make only for low-cost carriers. But Mr.M how come you have so much knowledge about
it?

Mr.M: I am an aviation enthusiast sir. I follow all the news related to this sector. I know the fleet size
of every Indian airline and the list of all the planes that Airbus and Boeing manufactures. Plus, I like
to study about their features, configurations, and everything related to this sector. All this comes
from the fact that my dad was a commercial pilot. Even I wanted to become a commercial pilot but
failed the eyesight examination.

Mr.A: I am surprised Mr.Marshall! We share similar interests. Me and my son are aviation
enthusiasts too. He is the current president of Pioneer Aviation Academy. His academy provides
private pilot training and if you will wish, I can surely help you with the enrollment and your practice.

Mr.M: That would be awesome sir. I would love to join as soon as I shift here.

Mr.A: Sure, M. I will connect you to my son and he’ll share with you all the formalities. Once you
complete this training, you’ll be able to fly charters.

Mr.M: Thank you so much sir, it’s like a dream come true. Really looking forward to it.

Mr.A: My pleasure sir. And how about the house? Did you like it?

Mr.M: Yes sir, I liked it. And I am ready to move in. Kindly send me the papers and all other
formalities to be completed through the broker.
