WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

J DESCRIPTION
D The new Fortuner/Hilux SW4 uses a wireless door lock control system. For details on the provision, see
Equipment List on page MO-23.
D This system is a convenient system for locking and unlocking all the doors, at a distance.
D A key-integrated, two-button type or three-button type* transmitter is used.
D The functions of the wireless door lock control system on the Fortuner/Hilux SW4 differ between the
models with and without the theft deterrent system.
D On the models with the theft deterrent system, the door control receiver is integrated in the theft warning
ECU.
D The door control receiver performs the code identification process and the body ECU effects the door lock
control.
D On the models without the theft deterrent system, a serial data link is provided for establishing
communication between the door control receiver and the body ECU.
