Remittance Intermediary Audits - by reviewing the remittance inward and outward
transactions, the accounts maintained by the exchange houses in relation to
remittance transactions; prepared reports in relation the quarterly audits
performed.
Anti Money Laundering Audits - In relation to AML audits, operations of the
company were reviewed i.e. if the company is maintaining policies, following
accounting guidelines, providing AML trainings, and complying with all AML
regulations as required by the authority.
Internal Audits - worked as part of quarterly internal audits performed for various
companies under the assistance of manager, along with other team members. Gained
knowledge on various sampling methods, operations of different companies. Gained
knowledge on recently developed regulations by the Insurance Authority and Central
Bank of the UAE.
Development of Policies and Procedures contributed in the development of policies
that are maintained and followed by exchange houses for the daily operations
business, namely; Operations policy, AML policy, Finance Policy, Risk Policy, IT
Policy, Disaster recovery and Business Continuity, Fraud Policy.
