General description
Sung-IL GRP TANK is construted with wall panels, roof panels, and base panels
in which preformed panels of specific dimension are jointed together with sealant by bolting,
that is one of principal strutural members is reinforced with steel member.

2. Design Condition
Sung-IL GRP Sectional Tank design conditons are shown in Table.
Load Contents
Hydrostatic Pressure The load shall be the weight of water when the tank is filled to its capacity.
(Water load) The static water pressure is to be treated as a long period load
Ps = 0.1 x y
at Ps : Hydrostatic pressure(kgf/cm2), y : Water level(height,m)
Earthquake load Earthquake load takes into account the impulsive and convective(sloshing) actions of the liquid.

Dead load Dead load is a gravity load due to the weight of permanent components of GRP Sectional Tank
is to be treated as a short-period load.
Man load Man load : Load on a tank roof when a man is walking on the roof.
(Roof live load) P= 80kg/m2
Wind Load The load on tank side walls is calculated assuming that tank is empty
Wind load : 160 km/hour
Snow load Snow load on a tank roof
S= 60kg/m2

3. Load Duration for Loading Types
