HyperReplication (Remote Replication) is a remote replication technology that synchronizes data
between arrays in real time, maximizing data consistency and minimizing data loss during disasters.

HyperReplication Competitive Advantages

All-in-One Centralized DR Management RPO within Seconds
 HyperReplication/A mode is based on cache
BCManager timestamp technology to reduce RPOs to 3–5
 Wizard provided for higher efficiency seconds.
 One-click DR testing, facilitating operations  The system will roll back the secondary LUN to
the snapshot (making the secondary LUN usable)
 One-click fault recovery, reducing complexity
during a replication failure, reducing recovery time
for host service.

Consistency Group Adjustable Replication Speed

 Replication speed can be manually adjusted to
 512 consistency groups per system (5500 V5)
avoid performance impacts caused by the copy
 Up to 8,000 replication pairs per consistency process.
group  Four (4) speed levels: Low (< 5 MB/s), medium (10

ultra-high (> 100 MB/s)

Link compression
 Uses the LZ4 algorithm to support data compression, which
can be enabled or disabled according to customer
requirements. Bandwidth requirements for asynchronous
replication are greatly lowered. According to the actual test
data, in Oracle OLTP scenarios where bandwidth is 100
Mbit/s, the bandwidth consumption can be reduced by 50%
after compression.

HyperMetro Overview
The HyperMetro (active-active) solution mirrors data at 2 data centers. When one storage system fails,
the service automatically switches to another storage system, and the service continues to run. The dual-
active solution ensures that service is not interrupted, and data is not lost during the failure process, which
resolves single points of failure issues encountered by traditional storage.

HyperVault Overview
HyperVault uses snapshot and replication technologies to integrate the backup function into storage devices.
With HyperVault, a low-cost solution is available without the need for extra commercial backup software.
In addition, HyperVault provides basic local and remote backup functions without the need for extra backup
and media servers, saving investments and simplifying management.

The built-in data backup technology is based

on file system snapshots for local and remote
data backup and recovery. The following two
backup modes are supported:
 Local backup: provides backup copies within a
storage system to meet rapid backup
requirements.
 Remote backup: provides backup copies
between storage systems. The first backup is a full
backup. Each subsequent backup is incremental.
Users can remotely maintain one or more data
copies.
