POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, under the Ministry of Power, has published a
notification inviting online applications from promising, energetic and optimistic candidates
for Apprenticeship for One Year Duration for its North Region-I Delhi, Haryana, Uttar
Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. Candidates holding B.E/ B. tech Graduates can apply
for the Apprenticeship. As per the latest notification, a total of 134 Apprentice posts will be
filled up. The online registration for the Apprenticeship will starts from 21st July 2021 to 20th
August 2021.

PGCIL Apprentice Selection Process:

The selection will be strictly based on merit. The candidate will be shortlisted based on the
mark’s percentage obtained in the prescribed qualification for applying to a different post.
The shortlisted candidates will be communicated through their registered email id. The
shortlisted must appear for their document verification with original documents.

Age Limit:

The candidate who is willing to apply for the Apprenticeship in PGCIL 2021 must have a
minimum age limit of 18 years.

 Candidates have to submit their applications on or before 20th August 2021.

Important Eligibility Criteria:

 Candidates who are still in their Final year of the Engineering diploma/degree or ITI
or waiting for their result are not eligible to apply.
  Candidates who possess educational qualifications as mentioned and successfully
passed within two years from the application last date are eligible to apply.
 The candidates whose age is below 18 years are not eligible.
 This opportunity is only for the Freshers. Candidates having more than 1 year of
experience aren’t eligible for this post.
 Candidates who have applied earlier in any Apprenticeship in any other organisation
must on apply.

PGCIL Apprentice Stipend:

*Payment of an additional Rs. 2,500/- in case no company accommodation is provided.
