Dr.

Suri Suriani Charles is an Education Development Specialist and a

Clinical Child Psychologist. She has been in the education landscape for
almost three decades. Her main fieldwork specializes in Early Childhood
Education and Development, Specific Learning Disorders and Mental
Wellness working with young children, youth, families, educators, para
professionals all around the globe.

A Social Entrepreneur, Founder and Director of Hearts to Mind , a

platform that provides support, resources, and services to the community.
Her passion, dedication, and commitment to the community is obvious
through her Community Involvement work through collaboration and
partnership with government agencies where she developed Youth
Development Program for IKLAS (Johor govt.), trained 500 police officers of PDRM Selangor Contingent,
and befrienders of several NGOs; My Library Tanah Sutera, Muslim Kidney Action Association, Clubheal,
Protect and Save the Children, Ang Tiong Loi Rotary Children’s Home, GIAT Parents Support Group,
Kuching Autism Parents Support Group etc. Dr. Suri has appeared in both National Television, RTM TV2 &
3, and Bernama Radio Station in Malaysia.

Dr. Suri spearheaded and setup the Rotary Community Academy a tuition free full time learning and
development academy for the underprivileged children of whom few has learning disorders and behavior
challenges. She developed the Curriculum and Teacher’s training to ensure curriculum fidelity, optimized
delivery, efficient and effective teaching strategies, and students’ learning and development progress.

A polyglot that speaks 5 languages fluently; English, BM, Bahasa Indonesia, French, and Mandarin, she is
truly a Global citizen as her community social work spans from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia,
and India as she believes in humanity without borders and that learning can be fun and enjoyable and
that everyone can be successful if they are provided with the right tools, support, and guidance.
