Vacancy of Part time Assistant

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for two posts of Part
time Assistant at Vizhinjam Regional Centre of Central Marine Fisheries
Research Institute, Vizhinjam on contractual basis in a project on
“Dialogues in Gender and Coastal Aquaculture: Gender and the
Seaweed Farming Value Chain Asian and African Partners” – study
area is in Ramanathapuram District with working knowledge of Tamil. The
post is for one month and purely temporary. Remuneration is 1000
USD/month. Candidates with Plus Two qualification and experience in
field data collection in Marine Fisheries are eligible to apply. Candidates
should be between a minimum age of 21 years and maximum 35 years as
on 01.03.2020. Interested candidates may apply for the post on or before
25.11.2020 and only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview
on 28.11.2020 at 10AM at specified online platform (will be informed later).
General Instructions:

1. The above post is purely temporary on contractual basis and will be liable
for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will
be no provision for absorption/re-employment in ICAR/CMFRI after
termination of the time-bound project.
2. The upper age limit is as on the date of interview. The age limit may be
relaxed for eligible categories as per Government of India rules and
regulations.
3. Candidates should send the duly filled in application along with self-attested
scanned copies of certificates and documents of qualifications, experience,
date of birth etc. along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations by
email. All original documents should be produced at the time of verification.
4. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualification and experience.
5. Short listed candidates selected for interview will be informed through
email, only. Applications may be send on or before 25.11.2020.
Applications received after the due date without mandatory documents
will be rejected. The mode for appearing before the interview committee will
be through virtual platform.
6. At the time of verification of original documents (even after selection), if it is
found that an attempt has been made by the applicant to wilfully conceal,
misrepresent the facts or canvass, such applicant will not be considered for
selection and due action will be implemented.
7. The selected candidates need to join immediately or at a short notice.
8. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for appearing for the interview
and for joining.
