1 General
REV. 2 All blank fields shall be filled in by Air Cooler Supplier. Filled in Mechanical Data Sheet shall be
submitted to Linde. Alternatively, Air Cooler Supplier may use its own Data Sheet(s) provided they
include all the required data.

7 Remarks
1 Type of fireproofing for support: sprayed-on epoxy Resin based intumescent fire protection coating up to 4
elevation 12 m. Final thickness by General Contractor.
2 Air cooler is located in construction area CA14031 1-40-31.
3 General legal and quality requirements for pressure vessels &AA-(GE-0)-T-SA 1001 (EN) shall be strictly 2
followed.
4 Materials of tubes and headers shall be impact tested as per applicable design code in consideration of
minimum ambient temperature of -52°C.
5 Material of support structure shall be impact tested at -44 °C as per applicable design code.
6 Type and testing of tube to tubesheet joints:
W2 - Strength weld with minimum 2 layers, weld thickness ≥ 0.9 times tube wall thickness, qualification
as per EN ISO 15614-8
G - Gas leak test (bubble test), shall be done before tube expansion in case of welded tube to tubesheet
joints and shall be performed before hydrostatic tests in all cases.
LE - Light expansion: Tube surfaces shall be in contact with tube hole surface. Light expansion shall only
be performed after welding.
P - Pull out test
7 TR-CU certification and EAC marking acc. to &AA (GE-0) T-SQ 1003 (EN) shall be provided.
8 Air cooler supplier shall purchase the motors at vendors listed in the offshore vendor list C10; see spec. 2
&AA-(GE-0)-B-SS 1430 (EN). Motor shall be able to be operated without space heaters within range of
design temperature.
9 Deleted. 2
10 Prefabricated parts of air coolers shall be ready for screwing after delivery on site. No drilling, cutting or 2
welding shall be required on site. All erection materials are included in scope of air cooler supplier.
